Summary: The image quality is NOT good and the resolution is only 1920 x 1080 (my fault for it was buried in the details of the item so I missed it) and not the 1920 x 1200 I was expecting. The screen brightness is definitely substantially duller than my other monitors. The resolution is completely my fault and can only blame myself. The lack of clarity and dullness is not my fault and would not recommend this monitor to anyone.
Summary: I decided to get the 2407WFP because of my previously great experiences with Dell monitors, the amazing specs, the many video inputs, and great reviews. I bought two of these around 3 months ago and haven't looked back. I write code on these monitors, I game on these monitors, and I use these monitors with standard applications such as internet and word processing. These monitors can do it all.
Summary: Pros: Great Adjustable Stand, and Cabinet, and Color Saturation & Brightniss available, with good contrast. Cons: This Monitor has ONLY ONE DVI connector, so you can't plug two machines to it using a DVI connection for each, bummer. :p That really sucks but that's the only prob with this monitor. It still outshines all the other monitors 1920x1200 that I own.
Summary: This is an excellent monitor for the price. Just don't make the mistake I did and think that you can use it as a tv and hook it up to your satellite box. It has to be hooked up to a computer equiped with a tv tuner to use it this way.Which is fine if you don't want to watch tv while using your computer.
Summary: I have 2 of these for my mac and will be getting more. I do video editing and they are a nice size to fit programs like final cut or permiere. Also, nice for 720 preview. The colors are great also (which I calibrate once a week). They are also very nicely priced and keep cool even after long use. Great monitors!
