Summary: My experience with the purchase of the Dell monitor was excellent; however,my experience with two other items was NOT. The two items were not as described and one was in fact an antique fake from a modern reproduction which had been artificialy aged. In both cases ebay would NOT allow a negative review to be submitted.
Summary: This is the best monitor you can get for a decent price. the widescreen makes it very easy to use various windows side by side. The built in USB is great for attaching a keyboard and mouse and other peripherals. The best thing about this product is if you have multiple computers it is easy to switch all the peripherals without plugging in multiple cords and wires. Also, since it supports multiple inputs you can easily switch between these as well.
Summary: I already had one of these and wanted a second one for another computer. The first one came as part of a Dell package I ordered. When I saw this one, I knew it was a good deal and a very good monitor. If they still have them, get yours.
Summary: I used this monitor as a cheap 90-degree control monitor (1050 x 1680). The stand allows for easy maneuverability of the monitor itself and the ports are all easily accessible. So far no problems but I am very enthusiastic about the price I got ($125) for such a nice monitor & stand combo.
Summary: I used this monitor with my Macbook Pro Retina. I have it connected with an HDMI (At Mac) to DVI (Monitor) cable and it works very well. The best thing about this is the four extra USB ports that are built into the monitor. Two are on the left side and two are on back (left side). Of course you need a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 cable like this Belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Cable (10 Feet) to connect to the back of the monitor to an open USB 2.0/3.0 port on your computer.
