Summary: My experience with the purchase of the Dell monitor was excellent; however,my experience with two other items was NOT. The two items were not as described and one was in fact an antique fake from a modern reproduction which had been artificialy aged. In both cases ebay would NOT allow a negative review to be submitted.
Summary: Nice screen if you are looking straight at it but it fades fast if seen from an angle. Also the power button is placed so that it is easy to accidentally brush against it and turn the monitor off.
Summary: I already own one of these monitors and I bought another one to match it. To my dismay, when I rotated it into portrait mode, the viewing angle became messed up. The colors change, and there's a weird gradient on the screen caused by the difference in viewing angle between your left and right eye.
Summary: We have been using this monitor with our Mac Mini with no problems at all. It has a nice picture and would be a great size for gaming. The only issue is that occasionally it goes to static for a few seconds before showing a picture after being turned on/woke up. Not detrimental to performance in any way, just has a very short lag time when being turned on (not nearly as bad as some tvs!).
Summary: Our original monitor died a painful death. We wanted to get a bigger monitor, but they are really pricey. We also wanted the usb hub in the back and wide screen which these have, so we ordered 2. Fantastic price and still cheaper than 1 bigger monitor. No issues, everything works, color is great, resolution is still great. No regrets with this purchase at all.
Summary: I used this monitor with my Macbook Pro Retina. I have it connected with an HDMI (At Mac) to DVI (Monitor) cable and it works very well. The best thing about this is the four extra USB ports that are built into the monitor. Two are on the left side and two are on back (left side). Of course you need a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 cable like this Belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Cable (10 Feet) to connect to the back of the monitor to an open USB 2.0/3.0 port on your computer.
Summary: This is the best monitor you can get for a decent price. the widescreen makes it very easy to use various windows side by side. The built in USB is great for attaching a keyboard and mouse and other peripherals. The best thing about this product is if you have multiple computers it is easy to switch all the peripherals without plugging in multiple cords and wires. Also, since it supports multiple inputs you can easily switch between these as well.
