Summary: I've had this monitor for a few months now and I really recommend it. Short review: If you're looking for a good monitor that is fully adjustable, this is the one for you. I spent quite a bit of time researching all different monitors trying to figure out which would be best suited for me. I am going to school for graphic design and computer science so I wanted a monitor that had accurate color reproduction but could also pivot for when I am coding.
Summary: I can't get 1920 x 1080 on this monitor, only 1600 x 1200. I just spent an hour on the phone with Dell Tech Support, and they have no information on how to get 1920 x 1080. If you have a Mac, I recommend not buying this monitor.
Summary: This was a terrific buy at $219 new! It took me a while to adjust to the 16:9 layout versus the 16:10 I had previously. I'm not a gamer so I don't push the envelope on response time but the resolution of this monitor is certainly up to my expectations.
Summary: I was looking into buying there direct but the costco bundle was considerably cheaper. I wanted a monitor that could rotate and had the VESA option. Unfortunately the dual stand does not allow rotation and is larger than expected. Used less desk space with the included stands so I removed the dual stand. Still an excellent buy!
Pros: monitors are crisp and clear vesa mountable
Cons: dual stand larger than expected dual stand does not allow rotating monitor set up dual stand then removed it
Summary: I purchased these for 2 of the desks in our office. They're really nice. It does free up space on the desk and brings the monitors up to about eye level. Much better on the neck. We've had them installed about 2 weeks and the staff is really happy with them. The matching monitors look very professional.
Pros: clear display great size dual monitors are awesome
Summary: Pros: Terrific monitor. Its bright with very good resolution and colors. I use this monitor at work for medical imaging applications and occasionally surf the web on it. I was so impressed I nearly purchased one for home use. ( I was upgrading from a 5 year old Dell 24 inch 1920 x 1080 LCD) Cons: There is no reason to buy this monitor when you can get the vastly superior Dell UltraSharp U2412M for a measly 30 more dollars.
Summary: I'm not gaming, so I can't comment on refresh time (keeps up with Microsoft Office just fine!), but I got what I expected and hoped for: Nice Dell packaging and setup instructions and a monitor that simply worked just fine. My application was to have a larger screen for a family member who requires magnification because of vision limitations. This monitor will be helpful, and I felt the price was good. It's also nice that the monitor can rotate into portrait orientation.
