Summary: I can live with the weird stand configuration and tight cable connection area. However, touch feature not working right out of the box is not good.
Pros: Easy to use on-screen menus to set up and modify connection types and video options. Reasonably bright. Separate Dell app to modify video options is nice touch. Power/connection monitoring and energy saver feature is good.
Cons: Touch feature does not work with my Windows 8.1, Intel i7 4790, GeForce GTX 770 setup. No help from Dell or latest driver. Stand is flaky - easy to fall off back edge of desk if not careful. Spring-loaded triangle shaped stand makes it difficult to pick up, handle, and move the monitor. Cable attachment area is needlessly small and tight fitting. Cables with large, inflexible ends will be a challenge to attach.
Summary: First monitor that actually fills the entire screen. Crisp, clean picture. Great for graphics programs. The stand is wonderful. Adjust it to view while standing, sitting, tall chair, short chair, et. this stand is exceptional. As a bonus, my keyboard pushes up to and under the monitor front-bottom and works great as a backstop holding the keyboard in place.
Summary: Didn't purchase from Newegg, but from Dell's site since they've been having some big sales. I have this hooked up to my htpc with my big screen TV. I set both displays to clone the desktop. I now have a touch screen interface for Civ V.
Pros: Supports USB 3.0 and displayPort technology. Working with Windows 8.1 like a charm. Feels like a massive tablet with the tilt stand. Dell build quality is amazing.
