Summary: I had to write a review because of the mostly negative ones and the featured positive is by someone who does coding on it. Really? That's not much of a test. I bought a refurbished from Dell outlet at a good price. Why I bought it- 1) It's NOT the ubiquitous 16:9. I really dislike "widescreen" . I'm not going to watch movies on it! or game. It's become common because of production efficiency of using the same size as TV display panels and brought the price point down .
Excerpt: We have used this monitor before but the pricing on B&H is much less than our previous supplier. I am very happy with B&H, especially as a new customer. We will be buying from them again! The monitor itself is great. I would definitely recommend.
Pros: Adjustable, Easy To Set Up, Lightweight, Sharp Image, Vivid Colors
Summary: As a lot of people I got this at work. no HDMI ? seriously ? Crappy colors, lower resolution than expected for this size. But yeah, when your only work of the day is black background coding with matrix green characters, I can understand this screen is "good" for you. You can find better stuff at NEC...
Summary: Yes I know it's not expensive but given the quality, it should cost half. Very poor color and contrast. My employer gave this to me as per the regularly scheduled hardware "upgrades". I spent an hour fiddling with the settings to get a satisfactory picture. All I got in return for my trouble was a headache from the unbearably bad image quality. Spend more, get something that will not make it harder to get your work done.
Summary: Bought this monitor over a month ago and it's been easy on the eyes. I use eclipse on it all the time and also scrub images for web design and it hasn't had any problems. A swivel neck and sturdy base. It has all the basic features you expect for a $240 monitor.
It isn't quite as crisp as my old monitor but definitely very good for the price

Summary: I got this to replace my old Viewsonic, which had the same size and resolution. It isn't quite as crisp as my old monitor but definitely very good for the price. This monitor has a 1:1.6 aspect ratio, which I greatly prefer over the 1:1.777 monitors e.g. 1920x1080. What that means is that you get extra height, which is nice for working on documents. This monitor has height and swivel adjustments to accommodate any setup.
Summary: We were looking for a computer monitor that wasn't too small or too large and also one that is height adjustable. The Dell P2213 monitor fitted the bill. So far, we have been extremely happy with it.
