Summary: 1) Though it would have come wiith a vga chord... NOPE (not much of an issue. just got a new one) 2) Refurbished but thought it was still good... NOT REALLY (the power chord given is either too small or power chord hole is irregular cause it's loose. You have to push the chord in more so the electricity would run through to power the monitor) 3)Other than that, it was good.
Summary: I don't understand the high ratings for this monitor. It is an inexpensive monitor and it shows. When I hooked this up to replace a CRT monitor, I had to make a lot of adjustments to get a decent display and even then, it's not good. The screen is much too light, even with turning down the brightness as far as possible. The text on the screen is not very clear - it displays like an old fashioned typewriter that needs the inked ribbon replaced.
Summary: Monitor looks good and is a nice widescreen version but the biggest let down is that you can't you the full resolution of the monitor such that we have to use it with everything too big in screen view. Bit disappointing really and we have tried various suggestions and fixes like installing new drivers, etc.
