Summary: I replaced a 17" flat screen for my wife. She couldn't be happier with the upgrade. All the computer/monitor is used for is email, surfing the web, and some light MS Office work, so the monitor is great.
Pros: Price (I got it at $100) Size Easy to assemble/install
Cons: No HDMI or DisplayPort The power button light, as others have said, is bright. Bizarrely, there is power option in the menu to do an energy-saver setting which turns the LED off. However, once your computer goes to sleep, the button comes back on - what use is that?? It also pulses in that state....
Summary: I would recommend this monitor to others who want to jump into a larger display size.
Pros: Got this on special for $99 as an upgrade for an existing 19" monitor. Like stepping into another world -- great colors and contrast. Easy to put together, cable up, and turn on. Stand is simple and sturdy, bezel is thin, and power/menu buttons were easy to find and use.
Cons: No cons from me. My needs are simple and this monitor meets them all handily.
Summary: I got this on sale for $100, and I would pay the $130 regular price for it, again. Highly recommended for someone's first 24" monitor.
Pros: I got this to use alongside a Dell 22.5" monitor. I have never had a 24" monitor before, now I wish I had done this much sooner. 1 1/2" may not sound (or look) like much, but it sure made it easier for these tired old eyes to see my desktop. I've never really been a big fan of Dell Printers, beca...
Summary: I bought two of these monitors for use with a Mac Mini, I use Monoprices Mini Display Port to DVI Cable 3' for ~$10 so $220 for dual 24" setup is a great deal. I feel this is a great buy for the price, just don't use the default settings or the images will be washed out.
Pros: $99 for a 24" monitor from a company you have heard of, you can't beat it Once I set the default color profile within OSX to "Generic RGB Profile" colors are what I'd expect for this price range, pretty good.
Cons: There's a problem with the default color profile Dell made for the Mac making all the colors washed out, changing to "Generic RGB Profile" fixed this No HDMI option
Cons: Washed out colors. I have another monitor(same model) and the colors are display correctly. This monitor for some reason cannot display colors correctly on default values. I would look elsewhere for a different monitor.
