Summary: I have three monitors run by a Triple Head to Go from Matrox. One of the screens went down and I turned to Dell. They don't make the monitor any longer. I went to Amazon, 5 people had them for sale. I took the five star rating and ordered the monitor at a reasonable price. Two days later it arrived, packaged perfectly. I opened the box, hooked it up and back in business instantly. I am a prime member and basically don't shop anywhere else - Amazon has it all!
Summary: Pros Great color and viewing angle. It's very bright, but that's why I bought an LCD in the first place. The images are very clear. Solid monitor. Cons The stand only tilts, it does not slide up and down. No big deal. Summary Don't trust the reviews. You can read reviews all day and someone is still going to bad mouth a product. I have read tons of reviews on CNET and NewEgg. There is no perfect monitor or perfect reviewer.
Summary: this is a great monitor for anyone, work, home or anywehere else. great for anyone who has poor space in they're desktop or just has problems seing small letters in the computer plus is an antiglare monitor.
Summary: I like the sheer size of it. 22" is a lot on a desk, but not with the narrow design of this one! Gives you more of what you want to see without taking the space that you need. Versatile vga and dvi connectors means whatever pc/videocard you use can plug into this! Overall i'd give this a 5/5 rating. Excellent colors, fast performance for normal or gaming use.
Summary: Bought this monitor 2 years ago from Dell's website. Pros: - After realizing in 2008 that I could get any other 22" monitor from Newegg or Fry's for $180, I wondered why this Dell model was MSRP'd at $230 and on sale for $200. This monitor has an AMAZING STAND. This is often neglected as people look for "how many inches, how many pixels, how many lumens, what's the contrast ratio, does it have HDMI, how many watts...". The base is very sturdy.
