Summary: Works as described by other users but installation is not as easy as described. Install drivers, then start the monitor using the standard VGA cable and connect both the HDMI cable and USB cable. The Monitor menu has selection buttons on the right side of the monitor will allow you to make setup changes. Select HDMI from this menu and touch screen and monitor should work as described. I'm using a Windows 8.1 PC.
Summary: you MUST have Windows Vista or newer to use the touchscreen properties. I purchased this for my husband who uses XP and cannot use the touchscreen features. We never would have bought it if we knew that. We refuse to upgrade to any of the newer Windows software.
Summary: Would have love to use it. Good looks, res... Only problem is the unit only works with a 64 bit system, so Window 7 or 8. If you have and old XP 32 bit system like me look for something else. If you have a system it will work on definitely go for it. I hope Amazon will update the spec's to reflect this to keep people (like me) from wasting their time trying to set this up.
Summary: After a month it is still working. Hopefully it stays that way.
Pros: We purchased this to use with our P(oint)O(f)S(ale) system. The program we use (TFBO) does work work well with this monitor. It did take awhile to find a decent resolution that looked correct. The touch screen is responsive and so far we haven't had any problems. It does come with a cloth for cleaning the screen
Cons: As usual with 90% of anything you buy, very poor manual. Doesn't even mention loading drivers to use with the touch-screen, only the display drivers.
Summary: This is a super monitor. Crisp display, good looks, and easy to install and configure. I have tried it on a desktop machine with Windows 8 and on several laptops under Windows 7 and 8. Here's what I found. On the desktop machine as the primary monitor, it works effectively but it doesn't bring the 'entirely new dimension' to Windows that the Microsoft advertising would have you believe and because its at arms length, the onscreen keyboard is not as easy to use as it...
