Summary: Touchscreen monitors either are the POS "cash-register" style ($130, VGA resolution, 14" or less) or the much more expensive HDTV models ( > $400, 24"). Because of size restrictions, I needed a < 24" model. 1920 pixel resolution wasn't required but I wanted more than 1280. This Dell is a "good-enough" compromise and works fine with a W8 PC and okay with a W7 setup. In booth cases, no extra drivers were supplied. They were not needed.
