Summary: My wife's 4 year old old Dell monitor's color display had "faded" and was looking anemic. We figured it was on its way out. Based on strong Amazon.com reader's reviews, and because of the very reasonable $39.00 price, I ordered the used Dell E176FP 17" Monitor from Coaster TV.
Summary: I have a Dell computer about 6 years old i bought through Amazon that works perfectly. Never a single problem with it. But a while back my monitor was flashing and going black and over time it got worse.
Summary: I bought this for a secondary monitor for my laptop and I am very pleased with it! It is a nice size and the standard factory color mix looks good. The screen also looks very sharp! Now this is no Samsung TV or anything, but there is no blurriness or fuzziness with the resolution of this screen.
Summary: I like it. It's not as light weight as I would have preferred but I like it. It's great well constructed. I'll probably have it for a very long time. Works excellent, it adjustable. Takes up a little more space than I thought. Excellent buy no major complaints.
Summary: Not sure what the technical language is, but this screen doesn't display graphics with the same smoothness and resolution as most modern screens. For example, even the fonts look a little bit pixelated. The beauty of it is that it's lightweight and cheap.
Summary: No offense to the one review prior to this one...but this is a decent monitor and I wanted to rate it up. I would not have purchased any other brand of monitor, unseen, for this $172 price...but traditionally Dell has made top notch monitors.
