Summary: First I am coming off a 7 year old dell 17 inch. I will use one example for a game I play DDO. If you are old enough to remember the Bundy's anthrax addition..The colors man the colors...lol. Anyway joking aside I was in most game hitting maybe 25-40 fps..40 If lucky to be honest. I get my monitor. Hook it up. Adjust everything to 144mhz and high def (which some people do not do..you have to adjust your games in preferences and graphics).
Summary: *I got this monitor when I did, rather than wait for a G-sync monitor, because my old monitor died, so if you're still just considering whether or not to wait, I would say wait. I will probably end up using this monitor as a secondary to watch video on when more G-sync monitors are available to become my primary. Ideally, I would use an IPS panel monitor for my video watching, as they are a superior overall picture, but circumstance didn't allow it.
Pros: 27" is deceptively large on paper - upgraded from 21" almost didn't have enough room on my desk. I can view it from any angle and it doesn't get distorted colors or anything, maybe just slightly dimmer. It's bright and vibrant. 144hz + 1ms The physical properties of the monitor are great as...
Cons: Price - It's expensive. You expect it to be so, but it's still a hefty price tag. No G-sync - not a dealbreaker for me right now, but likely would've been under different circumstances.* As someone else mentioned in another review, the blur reduction feature just makes everything really dark and it's just not good. I don't really understand what that's about. Also, as another review also stated, the refresh rate doesn't seem to work in some games, but I'm not sure tha...

Summary: not plug and play and poor manual so for me a long, difficult set up. have not been able to increase refresh rate to 120 hrz as promised. seems like maybe if i can i have to buy special cables. picture and performance no better than any stock tv and you have to buy speakers. settings controls difficult to use. so i would not recommend. will modify this review if tech support finds a fix.
