Summary: I bought this gaming monitor, expecting that the image quality would blow me away. Pictures on it are disappointing, and are better once one fiddles with all the controls for a while. In contrast, my eight-year-old Dell monitors worked perfectly out of the box.
Summary: If you care about color and a sharp image even a little bit, you absolutely MUST get another monitor in addition to this. As many reviewers have said, DO NOT count on quality images from this monitor when watching movies, looking at pictures, or any such thing.
Pros: If you want this monitor strictly for 3D gaming it is quite awesome. This is the only 3D gaming monitor I've ever owned so I can't compare it to others. Tomb Raider (2013) in NVIDIA 3D was so incredibly immersive it was INSANE. It completely BLEW MY MIND. In that regard, it was well worth the mon...
Cons: TERRIBLE color accuracy!! Also, quite often it will get stuck in LightBoost mode after quitting a game that you were playing in 3D mode. Sometimes the only way to get it to go back to normal is to restart your computer which is very annoying.
Summary: My order didn't even come with a power cable. The only thing that was included in the box was the DVI cable monitor and glasses. Not what was pictured, it almost seemed like the box was opened before hand.
Pros: Awesome monitor, If I could actually use it.
Love 120mhz, Love the 3D but got a few bones to pick with BenQ

Summary: So this is my second BenQ XL2420TX, the first one had a dead pixel in the middle of the screen and this one has a stuck pixel on the lower right hand side. Some black-light bleed but not a deal breaker. When you price a LED like this at almost $500, I expect no dead pixels no stuck pixels!
Summary: Aside from that, the monitor functions fairly well. 3D ready functionality is perfect. The picture needs some adjustment, but you can find some decent profiles online. Shipment came on time, nothing missing.
Summary: Other than the emitter problems and "general" display weakness compared to my HP monitor, this thing had some stunning 3D while it was working. I hope they improve the built-in emitter as it seems several folks are having this issue.
Pros: Pretty amazing 3D capability when the built-in emitter was working.
Cons: - The built-in emitter was not working on my unit. After fumbling around with driver installs/uninstalls and different cable configurations for over a day, the built-in emitter magically started working. It only lasted one night. The next day after starting up my Win 7 x64 PC from being turned of...
