Summary: Been using a while now. I wanted to maximize my 3D capability as well as get the most from my games. The refresh rates on this monitor are supposed to do all of that and they do for the most part. Great for games but not quite as good as my old Samsung for general family use. It is probably overkill for me as I pretty much keep one setting for all applications used so for instance, that quick switch mouse wheel feature is kinda lost on me.
Summary: This monitor is simply amazing. Once I made the switch from 60hz there was no going back. I can honestly say that this monitor went above and beyond all of my expectations. However, I expected maybe a scratch or something since I ordered it refurbished but was surprised that the monitor was perfectly fine. Everything was great until about 3 weeks in and I discovered a dead pixel. I was devistated, but I hardly even notice it anymore.
Summary: I'm very pleased with the monitor. Great picture quality. It didn't quite live up to my expectations - it's not quite "nVIDIA(tm) 3D Vision 2 Ready". Out of the box it's red/blue or red/green ready but for the 3D Vision 2 stereographic display, you need to buy the nVIDIA(tm) 3D Vision 2 Wireless Glasses Kit - not just the glasses. I suppose it's my own fault because I read too much into the description.
Summary: If your video card pushes 60+ fps in all your games but gets tapered by the refresh rate of your monitor, this BenQ XL2420 will do the job nicely. In comparison to your previous monitor, its default color will look different, maybe a bit washed out. But your eyes will adjust, and it wont make much of a difference in the end. It's still a high quality image and excellent refresh rate. I'd recommend it to any gamer.
Summary: Overall a great product from BenQ, however when compared to the ASUS 144hz monitor, they're basically the same panel, so you might as well save your money and buy an ASUS instead. Nonetheless, it is a great product to use!
It's a good monitor, for the price.. but there is always room for better.

Summary: For the price.. this is a good buy for what you get. This monitor is fast, it does have decent color, and the multiple inputs along with the configuration are nice as well. But, I do wish that BenQ would innovate more (like Eizo) and produce a 120hz non TN panel or a 120hz panel with IPS color quality. I also wish that they would add features like ASUS is adding into their gaming monitors now.. such as the crosshairs that are able to be displayed on the monitor.
