Summary: High refresh rate monitors are not ready.
Pros: It is a big display, not something I was expecting but nice none the less. High refresh rate no taring. Sold build quality, and very configurable.
Cons: Poor color accuracy. I know this is true for most high refresh rate monitors but I expected better. 144hz is not as great as i expected. yes it looks better with more than 60 fps, but that luxury is not really worth the money. Also, it is hard for me to even hit higher than 60 fps with my GTX 680...
Summary: This is not a question but some information you might find helpful. I wrote the review with the title called Awesome. Again, you may not get the results I did, but it worked for me. I purchased the Spyder4 Express to calibrate the monitor. I was skeptical... but it worked.
Pros: Please read descriptions below. I tried to put this in the Questions and Answer section, but it had to be entered as a question... and it's not. I put the rating in the middle as not to inflate the rating, whereas I already rated it 5 eggs. I just thought some may find this information helpful.
Cons: It does take a lot of tweaking to get everything set to your preference.
Summary: This monitor does what its suppose to do, make action smoother in games allowing for no delay, or stuttering on line. However you pay a price for this attribute, the graphics is not as clear and color is washed out.
Summary: If you want a monitor with excellent response time and high frame rate, this monitor will deliver. There are issues with image quality that may or may not bother you. If you simply want the edge over the competition and want responsiveness over image quality, this monitor will work for you.
Pros: 60hz to 144hz is night and day. I saw an immediate improvement in the way games handled: no more micro stuttering or strange issues caused by frame rate. I can see a difference in this monitor just by moving the cursor. The Menu is easy to navigate but quite honestly if I have to spend more time ...
Cons: This monitor is meant for gamers who want the 1ms response time and 144hz frame rate but you take a HUGE hit for those amenities in the form of picture quality. This monitor has the worst banding I've ever seen. For those of you who don't know, banding is when you have similar shades of the same ...
Limited Appeal, but Good at the Narrow Focus it Has

Summary: As I am both a gamer and a video & picture editor, I have gathered quite the collection of monitors, as well as calibration equipment (just for clarity, I do a full calibration of my monitors every 6 months or every 800hrs, whichever comes first).
Pros: - No NOTICEABLE motion blur in every game I tried - Significant increase in responsiveness IF YOU CAN KEEP THE FPS AT OR ABOVE 120FPS - The different "gaming modes" are interesting and I can see how they'd be helpful for those looking to win at any cost, although personally I think they look horr...
Cons: - By far the worst Blacks I've seen in probably 5 years or so; they are just terrible! The only "black" you'll ever see with this monitor is when it's turned off. - Absolutely horrific contrast ratio, even after professionally calibrating it (I have 5 different calibration units, tried them all);...
Summary: I'd like to see New Egg have this info posted right up front with the item. Pixel Warranty etc.
Pros: Nice monitor except for a Stuck Green pixel center screen for $390... ouch. Not happy!
Cons: "I have called BenQ in the past to check on it myself but never received a call back. Today I finally got a human who told me what the policy is and it's not great. What he told me is that the monitor needs either of the following before it can be sent back: 3 bad pixels within any square inch 7 ...
Summary: This is my first triple monitor setup. I should have done better research but I just got so excited went I saw the specs on these and then the price. I've got a taste of triple display though so I'm going to send these back and do some homework for the perfect triple-display monitor :o)
Pros: Does a good job at 120Hz, very easy to config, just looks pure awesome if you're looking straight at it.
Cons: Do NOT. I repeat, do NOT buy these for a triple-display setup. The viewing angles on these are pretty bad. You have to be looking right at these to get a good visual. This is the only con these have. Otherwise they would be perfect.
