Summary: Been using a while now. I wanted to maximize my 3D capability as well as get the most from my games. The refresh rates on this monitor are supposed to do all of that and they do for the most part. Great for games but not quite as good as my old Samsung for general family use.
Summary: Hmm, not sure if there is still speculation over the 60hz vs 120hz/144hz performance subject. I suppose some people may not appreciate it or perhaps do not have the proper equipment to drive performance; but I do: It definitely makes a difference to me.
Summary: Big bright monitor. Sometimes too bright, and the settings seem to change on their own. Contrast and colors vary noticeably with the view angle, so finding the sweet spot that works for you is critical. My biggest gripe is the touch controls on the side of the monitor.
Summary: COMPLETELY BLOWS AWAY any and all LED TVs, and is better than CRT for gaming. It's that good. You may have to spend some time customizing your display profiles - you get to save several presets, and the defaults aren't color-quality wise ideal for general desktop use.
Summary: I purchased this monitor almost 6 months ago. The monitor came with a 3-year warranty. - WOW! - Three Years! - This is a nice monitor! In order to utilize the faster 144Hz feature, I needed to use a DVI DUAL cable and NOT the HDMI cable or a DVI regular cable.
Summary: The 144hz is really helpful in FPS games. The monitor settings are great, it's very flexible when it comes to visibility and brightness. The remote control is very responsive and quick along with great functioning customizable buttons.
