Summary: More of a review of their service than their monitor but be warned.
Pros: Nice Monitor
Cons: Broke after 30 days, had to RMA through Benq, its been 3 weeks since I mailed it out and I still have not received a replacement monitor. Nobody picks up when I call BenQ customer service, will NEVER buy from them again. Sticking with Viewsonic.
Summary: Great monitor for the price. I was looking to get something with a 120hz refresh rate after I cracked the screen on my previous monitor. Boy am I glad I did. People tend to say you can't tell the difference in frame rate after 60hz but I beg to differ. Everything looks smoother.
Pros: The Price is Right Picture is Smooth as Butter
Cons: Default colors are slightly off (but can be adjusted)
Summary: I goofed a little and thought that this monitor would have built-in speakers, but it does not. It has a headphone jack useful for HDMI connections that provide audio, and a USB port that could be used for speakers.
Summary: Like most of the people with this monitor it has been a good experience so far. The 120hz refresh rate is noticeable right away when you play FPS games. Another common i have with other reviewers is that the color set up for the monitor right out of the box is terrible.
Summary: Great monitor overall. I thought about getting the 27", but playing games on larger screens up close is great if you're a casual gamer, but if you're into FPS there's no question that this is the better choice in my opinion. I guess it all depends on how far back your face is from the screen.
Pros: Playing games at 1080p, at 120hz makes games seem seemless, shiny. The matte screen's great when playing during the day (no reflection off the glass). The screen's height is closer to the same as my 22" Samsungs, than my 24" Samsung's was. It looks like it was made to go with them, just wider..
Cons: It took me about 20 minutes of troubleshooting to figure out that I needed to unplug all other monitors that I had hooked up, for the settings to work with 1080p @ 120hz. The highest that I could get before that, even with the dualdvi cable that came with it, was much lower resolution. AGAIN... R...
