Summary: Pros: 120hz, true 120. I bought this on a whim after my reg 24" 60hz monitor went out. I do a lot of FPS, MOBA, and RPG gaming. I was either going to do 1x120 or 3x60, and I am so glad I went with 1x120. The smoothness is amazing. I have never gamed on a 120, but I will never go back. Setup. There were quick setup instructions that were easy to follow. I watch a youtube review where someone scratched their stand by rotating the monitor, they are dumb.
Summary: I have been looking to upgrade to a 120hz monitor for a long time now but I havent jumped at any. i almost brought the famous ASUS one but still there were things bugging me about it. When I saw the first model of this I was really going to get it but there were to many negative reviews on it. One day just looking through the computer sites and this one jumps out at me. So finally I pulled the trigger and I have to say I am sooo glad I waited.
Pros: All the specs you read on here are excellent and live up to expectations.
Cons: none so far, but if I was to something I would say buttons are to sensitive.
Summary: I had the original benq xl2410t and this monitor fixes some of the minor issues that one had. First of all, there is ZERO backlight bleed, which i hated on the original. Secondly, the black equalizer makes a big difference. Lastly, the overall color quality is much better on this compared to the original. I am extremely happy with my purchase and this seller.
Summary: This monitor is great indeed, well worth the money if you love gaming. The only negative thing I can say about it is the glossy plastic parts on the monitor (act as a dust magnet) since this annoys me with any monitor.
Summary: Had the monitor for 2 days now. I’ve been looking for a good monitor for a while, and this one is great. I received the XL2420T Rev2.0 if anyone is wondering, which is marketed as an XL2420TE overseas. The Rev2.0 has some upgrades over the XL2420T Rev1, namely 1ms GTG refresh time (vs 2ms), 144hz refresh rate (vs 120hz), and now uses a flicker-free panel (I’ve not noticed any flicker at 120hz/144hz, at brightness settings).
Great monitor with good colour accuracy for a TN panel
1 March 2014
Summary: I was looking for a high refresh rate gaming monitor and coming from an IPS panel I wanted to get a monitor with the best colour accuracy I could from a TN panel and from other reviews this one seemed to be the best. So for a TN panel the colour is pretty darn good actually, I'm also using a program called light boost to increase the smoothness and its amazingly smooth, I've actually found I've gotten a bit better at FPS games which is slightly crazy!
Summary: I don't really know what to say about this monitor apart from it's insane. If you play fps then you will be amazed by what 120hz does for your skill, the game is so smooth and it's much easier to aim. Make sure you have a good PC though as you have to be over 120 fps to experience 120hz.
Summary: I received 144hz (2.0 version) which I was after. Monitor is great for gaming, however you can see grid lines for each pixel from very very close. I wasn't happy at beginning as monitor needs some tuning as for me it black colour were too bright, even when much lowered (pale colours). Setting gamma to 0.85 in graphics card display settings have helped me much so really enjoy its colours now (I like to see dark places being dark in no fps games).
Summary: Gaming screen, can't say enough good things about this. An excellent screen, works great for gaming and looks amazing. I had problems with a different BenQ monitor and the customer service was excellent, they sent me another monitor very fast and even a new plug.
