Good and Bad

Brad P., Newegg
4 December 2013
  • Summary: If you want a monitor with excellent response time and high frame rate, this monitor will deliver. There are issues with image quality that may or may not bother you. If you simply want the edge over the competition and want responsiveness over image quality, this monitor will work for you.
  • Pros: 60hz to 144hz is night and day. I saw an immediate improvement in the way games handled: no more micro stuttering or strange issues caused by frame rate. I can see a difference in this monitor just by moving the cursor. The Menu is easy to navigate but quite honestly if I have to spend more time ...
  • Cons: This monitor is meant for gamers who want the 1ms response time and 144hz frame rate but you take a HUGE hit for those amenities in the form of picture quality. This monitor has the worst banding I've ever seen. For those of you who don't know, banding is when you have similar shades of the same ...

So far so great

Joshua J., Newegg
3 December 2013
  • Summary: I bought 2 and now I want a third. Delivery to Anchorage Alaska was a day faster than I expected.
  • Pros: Very responsive display. Easy to adjust (tilt, rotate, ect) and doesn't feel flimsy. No stuck/dead pixels. Well packaged.
  • Cons: Color may need adjustment on arrival. I needed a longer DL-DVI cable for the far left monitor. Neither are problems than dock eggs.

A Great Addition to Any Setup

Gavin R., Newegg
3 December 2013
  • Summary: Find the image mode and change it, that will fix most of any issues had with blown out colors. This monitor is really bright and changing the brightness down to 50 or so will fix that. A small complaint I have is that the LED spacing is noticeable up close and a from a few feet away.
  • Pros: Out of the box, the screen is something to be admired. Plentiful cables (not including an HMDI cable) are included making it no hassle to get running. The color depth when properly setup is amazing and also something to be admired. The screen has headphone mount on the back for easy storage, as w...
  • Cons: The lack of the fifth egg is due to this, the monitor comes preset to FPS1 setting. This setting has insanely washed out whites, and to my opinion horrible blacks. Also included in FPS1 are horrible color values causing hard clipping between slight changes in the same color. Switching this to the...

DVI-D

Zachary K., Newegg
2 December 2013
  • Summary: The monitor requires a DVI-D cable in order to utilize anything over 60hz in native resolution. Obvious, now that I figured that out. I just figured I should put that in here in case anyone else found themselves with that issue as well.
  • Pros: The best monitor out there especially at the discount their offering. 33% off for the top gaming monitor? How can you beat that price? I've never used a 144hz monitor and the difference from my older 60hz samsung were instantly apparent even on an empty desktop with my mouse cursor. The functiona...
  • Cons: I have yet to witness any.

Excellent quality, no dead pixels.

29 November 2013
  • Summary: Fantastic. 144hz is CRT-like on the desktop, although without a pretty beefy GPU, you won't get that sort of refresh rate in games.

Insane, Awesome monitor

Logan, Amazon
28 November 2013
  • Summary: I bought this monitor a few days after buying my xbox one. May I say that it makes everything look 100 times better and has boosted my KD on call of duty ghosts from 1.5 to 2.5. No joke, this monitor made a bigger difference than the xbox one itself (which I also love).

Yes its good

Nicholas S., Newegg
28 November 2013
  • Summary: Learning how to make the most of this monitor required some effort on my part. That's not a bad thing, but unusual in a day and age where most technology is spoon fed too you. You will need to tinker with your monitor settings, and make sure Windows knows you're monitor goes to 144 hz.
  • Pros: + framerates up to 120' + great color + lightening fast refresh + Build for high-end PC gaming
  • Cons: - Contrast - Price - Useless without a higher end GPU

Excellent gaming monitor, eliminated annoying motion blur that was bothering me with my older monitor

Robin D "champmav", Amazon
22 November 2013
  • Summary: Very happy with this 144 Hz monitor. I don't use the monitor for high end graphics work or video editing, so the non-IPS nature of the panel was not important to me (I am aware that IPS monitors are the preferred choice of many professional graphic artists and video editors).

Best Monitor Today!

Steven O., Newegg
21 November 2013
  • Summary: Default colors are average. I changed the settings up a bit for my taste.
  • Pros: I bought 2 of the TE models to complete my 3 monitor setup with the T model. These colors are more natural than the T model (T Model gives you a bluer color, no matter how hard you try to sync them all together) High Quality, picture is fantastic. Playing BF4. CoD and many other games of 2013. It...
  • Cons: I wish I could exchange my T model for a TE model, but still its hard to tell once NVIDIA Surround is active.
