Summary: I am coming from a 60Hz 1080p LCD ASUS monitor that I have had for going on 5 years. This monitor set up quick and after a bit of calibration, is fantastic; a very good investment. There was in instant difference even in just moving the mouse across the screen at 120Hz. Also, the default refresh rate on this monitor is 60Hz, so you must go through and change this manually.
Summary: First off I did not by this for 3D so will not be reviewing that aspect of the monitor. Right away you can tell the build quality of this monitor is top notch. Study and feels like it will last a long time. Out of the box the colors are whack, quick calibration and they are great. The 120hz makes fps game looks better than you have ever seen them. So clear and crisp and no mouse lag due to not needing vsync as the 120hz gets rid of tearing.
Summary: I debated between a 120hz and a nice IPS monitor, but I decide to go with this monitor, and I couldn't be happier. Any game above 60-70 fps looks awesome. I've gone as far as lowering some settings in games to get higher fps and a smoother experience. I was afraid of people talking about eye strain and headaches, but I've have not had any of these problems. I love this thing.
Summary: I had to sell my asus vg248qe cause the PWM was making my eye water and strain only after 1 hour of gameplay I decided to spend a few extra cash on this monitor since it has no pwm and man Im enjoying fluid responsive on 120hz and 144hz also my eye don't hurt anymore either. I only use 120 hz since my 770gtx can only push about 125 frames constantly in bf3 on low and med settings I love this monitor it also easy to navigate your setting unlike the other monitors I had...
Summary: If you still remember what CRT gaming was like before LCD monitors took over, get ready to be impressed by this monitor. You can run it with ZERO ghosting. I just got mine yesterday and I'm still tweaking my color settings, but I love what I see so far while gaming. If you have sensitive eyes like I do, this is the perfect monitor for you. I always set my monitors' brightness very low since I spend a lot of time staring at screens.
Summary: After using the Asus VG248QE for a couple of days and being severely disappointed with the overall white washed / dirty contrast and poor RBG scaling I decided to return it and order this one. Straight out of the box the BenQ is better in terms of color/image quality, which most higher refresh rate monitors (120-144hz) suffer from. Although it still isn't an IPS panel, it's the best that TN panel will get at this refresh rate.
Summary: I was very indecisive between getting this monitor or an IPS. I read numerous reviews about 120hz monitors and how it's suppose to be a lot smoother for gaming and went with this one. Best decision ever. It's not just good for FPS games but you get an over sense of your computer screen being a lot smoother. I play WOW on it and it never looked better. Although the colors don't match up to an IPS monitor, the 120hz easily makes up for that.
Summary: I love the Monitor, and I payed a good price but there were a few issues. First of all if you buy the monitor off Amazon, you don't get to return it unless there are 7 dead pixels or 3 dead pixels within a square inch. If you were to buy the monitor from the Benq website you can return it for any reason within 30 days.
The only true gaming monitor; keep in cover when not in use!

Summary: Excellent monitor, perfect for gaming. No imperfections and I bought a refurbished model. I called the warehouse in California ahead of time stressing I wanted the best refurbished they had and told me they were all restored to factory quality. I Was using a 42" plasma display for a while and finally broke down and got this. The 3D is only available for use on the TX model. The 2420T that I bought was cheaper and I don't recommend 3D to anyone.
Best gaming monitor you can buy for under $1000.00

Summary: One thing must be made clear, this is a GAMING monitor. If GAMING performance is not your primary concern, then you should consider a different, less expensive monitor that will fulfill your needs much better than this one. This monitors design is built around 3 things, extremely high frames per second, stark contrast and low input lag, and it does all 3 very, very well.
