Summary: This monitor does what its suppose to do, make action smoother in games allowing for no delay, or stuttering on line. However you pay a price for this attribute, the graphics is not as clear and color is washed out.
Summary: overall i am happy with this monitor but i was hoping for nicer colors. 144hz is very smooth but difficult to get 120+fps in games even on a r9 290 this monitor is lightboost capable and i can not wait to try it
Pros: 144hz creates very smooth moment great touch controls one of the best monitor stands i have used bezel is not too thick colors are not so bad lightboost can be used
Cons: colors are a bit washed compared to my previous viewsonic price why include a vga connection?
Summary: I found it to be extremely bright. I turned everything down to where it was comfortable to me. This also helped me achieve something I could live with for my other applications. I'm writing this review using this monitor, so I'm able to use it for other apps.
Pros: Several connectors... HDMI, Displayport, DVI, etc. Excellent picture... for gaming. It gives new life to even my older games. The pictures is awesome... a big improvement over my old monitor (Dell 2408wfp). The old monitor has a great picture and I plan to keep it, but for gaming, there is a big ...
Cons: Color... however, I spent a lot of time playing with the settings and I've got it to where I feel it's good enough to use for all my other applications. It's acceptable and I can live with it. It's not as bad as some of the reviews I read... but again, at least to me it's not that bad, but it too...
Summary: Got this monitor a week ago and i'm loving it thus far. I play battlefield 4 on it and my KDR is slowly rising. before i got this my KDR was 1.4 and now it's 1.57. can't notice any screen tearing and the colors are accurate enough for what i intended to to with this monitor.
Pros: Really good monitor. If you have the spare cash I'd definitely recommend this if you're a gamer and a little coloring doesn't affect you much. The extra frames you get as opposed to a 60hz monitor is insane. The moment I plugged in the dual DVI connector even the mouse movements seemed more smoot...
Cons: Slight coloring issue but that's expected with a higher frequency monitor. Price is a bit steep as well for just a monitor.
Summary: The monitor is great. I am not sure if its something I was doing wrong or how its suppose to work. I couldn't change refresh rate of monitor to 144hz when using HDMI. But when I switched to DVI, I was able to change it to 144 hz. Also, with HDMI, I could make it fit my monitor screen.
Summary: be aware this monitor was purpose built for gaming if your looking for something with perfect color clarity for photo or video editing look elsewhere. the picture quality and color depth is the best I've ever seen on a gaming monitor and considering the speed of this beast it's pretty amazing .
Pros: 144hz, 1ms, tilts, swivels, slides up and down easily, rotates to vertical position, its a dream compared to any thing else I've ever used. as for gaming on this thing well you just have to see it to believe it, I had no idea what a difference a monitor could make. this thing takes games to the n...
Summary: Using this monitor the last few days had been great! Don't think i can go back to 60Hz ever again! For all those looking to invest towards your competitive gaming, this is a great starting point! you won't regret it, that's a promise
Pros: The monitor is an absolute must for current competitive FPS games like CS:GO. Going from 60Hz to 144Hz is honestly a night and day difference! Makes Shooting is cs much easier, going from target to target without interruption is a major plus. BenQ has done an absolutely fantastic job with this pr...
Cons: None that stand out, I hear of complaints about picture quality but nothing suggests that this is an issue. If you are doing a lot of video editing or photography you might want to look else where but seeing as this is a gaming monitor it is not made to look crystal clear for photos.
Summary: This is an OK monitor if you need one right away and are dedicated to gaming, not interested in how it looks on the desktop or watching video or photos, go for it. If you can wait, the gaming monitor market is evolving. g-sync will be the next step introducing variable frame rate.
Pros: Gaming is really, really great. I also tried this out side by side with my two other monitors and you can see the lag reduction and refresh rate by just moving windows around.
Cons: The presets are teribad and require extensive adjustments. Even then the picture quality is really poor - low contrast, banding, lack of sharpness. Color fidelity is poor. it looks worse than a $100 LG monitor we have elsewhere in the household
