Conclusion: BenQ V2400W has a TN panel but despite this fact it offers fair picture quality. The colours are not 100 % accurate but neither are they way off. The panel has relatively deep blacks and the picture is not heavily overboosted, which is a plus in my book. The panel, however, has some problem with viewing angles. Also, the AMA system is integrated to help improve response time but the Overdrive circuit inflicts obvious white trailing (halos).
Pros: Accurate colours, Relatively deep blacks, HDMI
Cons: 56.4cm x 36.9cm x 19.2cm (with stand), 6,7 kg, -, -, Viewing angles, AMA induce white trailing (halos)
Summary: The BenQ V2400W offers reasonable quality and some great design motifs - it's a real shame that the cheap feeling stand lets it down. Also, we'd like to see more cables included at this sort of price.
Excerpt: BenQ's V2400W has an unusual design, with an off-centre silver stand and an attractive glossy black bezel. It may look nice, but there's no height adjustment, portrait mode or wall-mounting option. The V2400W has a high 1,920x1,200 resolution and an HDMI port for attaching home entertainment systems or games consoles. When watching full HD 1,920x1,080 content you'll get black bars across the top and bottom of the screen, although this isn't too distracting.
Summary: BenQ’s V2400W features a stylish design, and its excellent performance in most areas means that it’s ideal for the typical PC user or gamer. The addition of HDMI should also appeal to console owners.
Pros: Design, colour levels, fast response time, touch-sensitive controls, no noticeable ghosting during gaming and movie playback
Cons: Average viewing angles, finer details sometimes lost, only a VGA cable included, no wall mounting option
Summary: With its offset neck and thin chassis, the BenQ V2400W presents a unique look. In addition to the sleek design, its low price and strong performance earn this 24-inch LCD our recommendation for home or office use
Pros: Unique and aesthetically pleasing design with offset neck, Thin, Great overall performance, Easily accessible video connection
Cons: Nonadjustable screen height, No screen rotation feature, OSD buttons are sensitive, Low maximum brightness
Excerpt: BenQ isn't a name you'd traditionally associate with aesthetic perfection, but its new BenQ V2400W monitor is a radical attempt by the company to move into a more stylish area of desktop computing.
Monitor wyposażono w komplet złączy analogowych (VGA) i cyfrowych (DVI i HDMI) z obsługą HDCP.
Pros: szybka matryca, HDMI i DVI z HDCP, efektowny wygląd, atrakcyjna cena
