Summary: This is an good monitor in terms of color reproduction and an excellent monitor in terms of contrast. I can turn the brightness down quite a bit and get a nice picture that is easy on the eyes for longer periods. The contrast performance is especially nice when watching video, which looks fantastic. The matte finish of the screen is really nice and the bezel is thin and attractive. I also really appreciate that the power/status LED is fairly dim in a classy way.
Summary: For the money you can't beat this monitor. Color is great, there is little to no ghosting that happens when playing FPS games. One bit of advice for people looking to use this as a computer monitor: buy a DVI-D cable instead of HDMI, some PC's have issues with the HDMI interface particularly if you're running Linux.
Summary: 5 star monitor but a 4 star rating. Just got this monitor and have it hooked up to my gtx 670 FTW via the HDMI. It really is beautiful. Seriously. I thought the other reviews were overstating the look but they were spot on. Why 4 stars? I can't take credit for finding this answer: When I hooked up the monitor via the HDMI the first time, the panel kept saying "cable not connected". Did some surfing and came up with the fix.... 1.
Summary: love this monitor! It shows very high quality images I use it for all my gaming systems (PS4,XB1,PC) I am planning on getting 2 more. the only issue I have with the monitor is that it only has 1 hdmi port but it was not a big issue because I purchased a splitter at the same time and it came with one stuck pixel but it is still a great monitor.
GREAT MONITOR THOUGH NOT AS IMPRESSED AS I HAD HOPED

Summary: Well, I do like this monitor, but unfortunately, am not over-the-top-impressed with it's picture quality. I got this as an alternative to higher priced IPS monitors, based on other reviewer's comments, and the specs offered in the product description. I bought it to replace an older ASUS 24" LED monitor which had started to flicker when streaming videos at 1080p resolution (and even at 720p, though less discernible). Well, this monitor still flickers.
Summary: Text is okay, but not great. I had to go into scaling on CCC to get the monitor to fill the whole screen (coming from a 1920X1200 monitor). Also, and maybe the most disturbing... colors. I can't tell yet if it's me or the monitor. When I run color tests and blue/red/green tests it's good, but dunno.... something just seems off. Very possible it's me, so not listing as a con.I will update if I find out more.
Pros: Nice size and if you're coming from an older 24" LCD you'll find the footprint on this monitor is not much wider or longer. Thin bezel FTW.
Cons: It would not automatically detect HDMI... I was stumped for awhile until I went into the controls and manually selected HDMI as the input.
