Summary: It's worth every penny. 27'' and it's a decent gaming monitor. Not the best in the world because of refresh rate, but it's still a nice screen for the price. I bought this to go on my $700 gaming computer and I have been in love since I plugged it in. I had a 32'' 1366x768 and this monitor is so much more crisp and pretty. If you can't afford a $400 or $700 gaming screen, get this.
Pros: 1080p, nice colors, great pricing.
Cons: VGA cable.... lol seriously? Lacking in the tilt department.
Summary: This is one of three 27" monitors I have and it fits nicely in my setup. I use it for both work and play and response time is excellent for all types of use. My other monitors are LCD and I will say that the LED is very nice. I will be replacing one of my other monitors with another of these soon.
Pros: Crisp clean display that is quickly and easily assembled. Sturdy base and easily adjustable. Colors are vibrant and the auto detect input works well.
Summary: Waited for a well-reviewed 27 inch monitor to go on sale so I could have a 27+secondary on both workstation and desktop. This one came available for $179 so I pulled the trigger, and I'm quite happy with the results. Compared to my other 27 (a Samsung), this monitor is MUCH brighter, has MUCH whiter whites, and FAR better color range/contrast. Might be due to this monitor's VA display, or just because it's more recent overall technology, but the difference is incredible.
Pros: Top quality 1920x1080 display High brightness Good color balance, including truly "white" whites No dead pixels Good assortment of input connectors Stand is more solid than most Reasonable menu system
Cons: Stupid advertising screen on powerup, lasts a few seconds Only cable included was VGA (?!?)
Summary: Would buy again. I love the BenQ brand. This is my second, they last forever, my last one lasted a good 6-7 years.
Pros: Good picture, speakers are decent, great for price. I've had this thing for over a year and haven't had any issues.
Cons: The only thing that could make this better is a second hdmi so I wouldn't have to switch between my PC and PS4. (I know I can buy a switch, but meh.) Oh and making the stand adjustable for taller people.
Summary: I'm accustomed to very small, sharp, and glossy laptop displays. This is my first desktop monitor in quite some time so I have very little to compare it to (plus I can't afford to be that picky). This monitor is especially excellent if you get it on sale, very large for the price. I turn the brightness down as needed, and like other reviewers mentioned you cannot configure HDMI without VGA so keep that in mind. Other than that no problems to speak of!
Pros: Large for the price Very bright (also a con)
Cons: Very bright Definitely the largest size I would get this resolution
