Summary: Go look at the review on TFT Central, it's really worth the read and I highly suggest you use their recommended calibrated settings and ICC profile. Sure it cannot compete with the smoothness of a 120Hz + Lightboost monitor for fast First Person Shooters but it will blow away the colors and angle of any TN pannel, hell it even beat any IPS screen.
Pros: - AMVA Panel!, - Very good viewing angles, barrely worse than IPS., - Static contrast ratio 3x better than any IPS., - Good OSD menu., - Buttons on the side and it's real buttons, no lame touch!, - Anti-Glare screen?, - World's first fast VA pannel,4ms and very low input lag unlike all others! Thus making a really good non-120Hz gaming monitor., - Overclockable to 71Hz, better than no thing and anyway best I've seen other than Korean monitors is an old Asus ML239H at ...
Cons: - Wish it would have been semi-glossy like my previous BenQ 24".
Summary: uses same panel as many other benq 24", and it delivers just the same. good colors, good black levels, comfortable viewing, angles are great, etc etc. Even response time is decent. Everyone but the most hardcore FPS gamer will have no problem.
Pros: big, cheap for va panel, integrated speakers, hdmi/dvi/vga
Summary: This is great monitor for people who gaming and watching movies and what. this is best valued monitor i bought yet.
Pros: Really impressed. image is very nice and more coloe depth than my old 20 inch monitor i bought in 2008. its about time I upgrade to sonething new. it has hdmi vga and dvi. out. and and of course 24 inch screen makes it easier on my eyes
Cons: Came with vga cable. I would like to seen a dvi cable. But ya its value monotor so so i dont expect to see it.
Summary: I chose this partly on other reviews and partly on specification, which included a better than normal contrast ratio. My usage is mixed - internet browsing, email, document writing, and a few games, so I wanted something which could cover all the bases. Once basically calibrated, with the brightness right down and the contrast up fairly high, the picture quality is really very good indeed. Crystal clear, with good colour, no flicker at all, and decent viewing angles.
Summary: As a digital photographer I really value a screen with consistent colour balance. Out of the box these looked good but I checked them with a Huey pro and after it had done its thing I could not see the difference.
Summary: Very pleased with this. I always fear dead pixels when I buy a monitor, but this is clear. If I had to criticise it, it would be the sound. The speaker face backwards so that the effect is slightly muffled. I would have preferred a slightly wider bezel so they could have been forward facing. But frankly everything else about this monitor (at least my unit) is perfect.
