Summary: I have had this monitor for over 2 years now and it is still working great, nice picture quality and runs smooth. Automatically detects the difference between the DVI & the Sub-D (VGA) inputs when connected individually and when in at d same time....there is a selector button.
Summary: As soon as my credit card was approved there was knock at my door and there was my monitor.Ok not quite that fast but I ordered it on monday and it showed up the next day,tuesday.Whew.And with no damage at all. Thanks again newegg for a good product.
Pros: The setup was easy and it went quickly. It was plug and play and then adjusting, fine tuning and it was done and ready to go.Ive only had it a little over a week but is working good with no problems.Glad I bought it.
Cons: The manual. Not much I can say because they didnt say much either. There really isnt a lot to setting up a moniter but looking at it from a newbie standpoint it might be a little confusing.Look at what came in the box for a minute or two then plug in those 2 things and power it up.Benq leads you th...
Summary: After experiencing the color quality of this monitor I am definitely going to purchase a plasma TV for home. I just love the refresh rate and black level display.
Pros: This is the best monitor I have ever used. I replaced my home and office monitor with this product. The nearly perfect black level makes images look so much better. I have watched several movies with this thing and the picture is so much better than my old monitor.
Summary: I was unsure of the manufacturer but I bought it and I love it. It only had a VGA cable with it, no DVI. But I use it for my laptop which only has VGA anyway. So no issue for me. Was bright with factory settings. Turn down brightness and it is great.
Summary: I would buy two more... If I had the cash lol money talks!
Pros: Just received this monitor earlier this week. Paid 120. Was a littler nervous at first after reading the reviews and people saying the colors were faded, ghosting etc. I hooked it up with a dvi cable (not provided with monitor) and it looks great. Upgraded from 1440x900 and it looks great! Great ...
Cons: No dvi cable, no screen tilt, neither of which bother me so these "cons" are meaningless.
Pros: I gave the monitor a 1 and returned it... turns out i might have a weird graphics card issue... although i tested the monitor on two different computer and neither laptop could find it, not sure what was going on. I have since tried another DVI monitor and it worked on one of those computer but n...
Cons: Tech support WAS completely useless. Being passed around by indians... I felt like a basket of falafels. They had no idea what was going on. When the extent of tech support is "puch the button on the side" then we have issues. I just got 3 hours of tech support from dell on the other hand and the...
Summary: As mentioned above, the models currently shipping as of week11, 2014 no longer uses PWM. I have tested it out with a camera phone and there is no flickering at <25 brightness. I have no issues with flickering, but those who have trouble with it should most certainly consider buying this monitor.
Pros: No PWM. True 8-bit panel as opposed to budget IPS panels using 6bit+FRC. No noticeable ghosting. Matte coating on the screen. Luckily no dead pixels. Power light indicator out of the way.
Cons: No DVI cable. No HDMI output. Screen too bright out of the box. Color profiles available online may no longer be applicable.
Summary: I always suggest mounting monitors to the wall or some other mount when they have the back screws for it. There is a reason that they have them, and a less than solid stand.
Pros: First off, i bought three of these to do surround gaming. They have not let me down at all! I read review after review they are all pretty mixed up. I have not had a problem yet, they got here safe and sounds with no dead pix or broken stands. People mention that the stands are weak and cheap. I ...
Cons: The much mentioned Con! No DVI cable.. it is the year 2014 not 1999
