Excerpt: Thin and light, the BenQ GL2450 doesn’t take much space on a desk — but despite its svelte profile, it offers quite a bit to see when it comes to your favorite games. If you live in tight quarters, you’ll appreciate how well this particular monitor pulls double duty: thanks to its built-in speakers, it easily functions as a TV for your 360 while also serving as a display for your computer.
Pros: +, +
Cons: ? When will 27” monitors drop into the low-to-mid $200 range?
Summary: As with most screens there is some setup required to get the monitor to your requirements, but this does not take too long to do. Once you have got past the stiffness of the controls and configured everything the quality was excellent for both windows desktop use and games (PC and consoles). It also has some great short-cut buttons for switching modes or adjusting the volume on the fly.
