Summary: I bought this monitor at the end of lat year just before Christmas to replace my 21 inch Viwesonic monitor and I have to say, I'm impressed. The screen itself is large, nicely finished with a small bezel. The picture is very clear and bright, with great contrast and colours. My only complaint is where the buttons are located - on the underside of the bezel on the right hand side. Apart from that I;ve had no problems.
Summary: Pros: Connecting with RGB lead to compact computer running xp Full Hd 16:9 aspect very wide screen. using monitor for looking at drawings and spreadsheets. Surberb matt finish anti glare screen, good overall colour balance and very sharp picture. using monitor on default settings in xp 1920 x 1080 anything less causes less picture quality. Very old graphics cards would be a no.
Summary: I was a little hesitant about this purchase as it was so cheap, but i needn't have worried. It was easy to set up straight out of the box, needed zero adjustments and did just what it says on the tin. I'm not into gaming or watching dvd's on my pc so i cant't comment on how well this monitor performs in those areas, but as a day to day work horse it is perfect.
Summary: I wanted an additional large monitor for viewing financial trading charts, so I could display four on one screen. This monitor is bright with astonishing crispness and clarity. It weighs very little, and so was easy to handle and install into it's base and I'm very pleased with it. I connected it via a USB display adapter which is also an excellent product USB To VGA/DVI/HDMI Multi-Display Adapter Converter,USB 2.0 to DVI , VGA or HDMI Adapter * NEW * 1080p Full HD ready...
Summary: I am a gamer. I searched for comments telling how this monitor behaved in games, maybe you are searching that too. In that case rest assured that this is a indeed a gaming monitor. To be short: PROs: - Cheap - No ghosting - Good in general for gaming, movies and browsing - No problems with text, it is crystal clear. - Menu easy to use Cons: - default image mode is not good, colors are washed off. Use Movie preset instead !
Summary: A real winner: very low energy use (I measured 25 watts on the plug, just a tad above claimed); matt screen; nice detailing; good value; works with VESA mounting arm. It fired up straight from the box, even with my useless 1440 pixel wide built-in graphics card. It just automatically upscaled the picture to 1910 pixels. Flesh tones look blotchy, but presumably that's because its having to upscale from a lower to a higher definition, otherwise the picture is superb.
Summary: Excellent product. It's only let down is it has no height adjustment, but I knew that when I ordered it! The picture is far brighter then what I want, but I was able to adjust it with little trouble. If you are used to a 19" squarer screen, it looks huge, but you get used to it.............
Summary: You'll not regret buying this monitor, do NOT be put off by the cheap price, it really is that much of a bargain. Image quality is top spec, with a DVI-D cable (which is no worse than HDMI except it doesn't carry sound, no problem here since this monitor doesn't have speakers). If you're using a TFT or LCD screen that's just a couple of years old you'll be wowed by the difference this LED screen brings, it's so much sharper, with better contrasts and vivid colours.
Summary: I bought this primarily for photography and video. The preset modes are really useful. There is an eco preset which reduces brightness to save electricity but is also very easy on the eyes. For photography there is an srgb mode which gives a very true interpretation of the photo as out of camera. (Need to set camera to shoot in srgb of course). The movie mode is excellent for watching DVD's and there is also a photo mode. I personally prefer srgb though.
