Summary: Amazing price, free shipping, and quality product. This monitor is very slim and weighs almost nothing. Performance is way above expected. Almost everything gloss painted trim on this monitor had protectant film on it to keep it in great condition until it gets to you. Only problem I had was a little damage on the stand, but I will say the damage was definitely from the shipping process. I was surprised because it was packaged very well.
Summary: I am very pleased (being a 'senior citizen") to be able to look a great sized screen when I am "computing" and this one is very nice. The quality is excellent and I am grateful that I was able to get it to add to my busy desk! It makes things much more organized. Thank you!
Summary: I got two of these in a two monitor setup for my computer. It is a great display, especially at the price it is selling. My one and only gripe (which isn't much of a gripe) is that the optimal resolution of 1920x1080 makes things a little smaller than I was used to.
Summary: Great quality monitor for the price. Full 1080p resolution for only 119.99. Not that bad in my books. Used for gaming (Mass Effect 2 and Wow mostly) and it is a night and day difference between my old monitor that was only able to pull 1280x780. Includes a VGA cable that feel flimsy and not of high quality.
Excerpt: I connected a DVI cable (not included), turned it on and spent the first 15 min saying wow at old pics that seemed to come to life! Maybe all modern monitors are this good, but both the detail and colour seem dead impressive. (I guess this model is like the acclaimed G2200HD but with LED lighting instead of a cathode tube.
Excerpt: I brought two of these for a dual screen set up to replace a 26inch TV with VGA pc input. What a difference, I never really noticed how rubbish my original picture was until I brought these. The new screens are so vibrant and crystal clear, they work wonders with windows 7 and never fail with anything I chuck at them.
Summary: After the recent death of my trust old desktop it was time to upgrade. I bought a pretty high powered machine from dixons for a bargain price but the deal did not include a monitor . Rather than buying the rip off monitors they tried to sell me I dived into the internet and came across the BenQ G2222HDL on amazon. I was skeptical at first as I have never heard of BenQ but after reading reviews I decided to take the dive and go for it.
Summary: Now, you may or may not of heard of BenQ, as they are not a brand you hear of often. I am, however delighted to say that I discovered them, as this monitor is excellent. I bought this monitor recently as a replacement for an old 19" Advent one which to be honest, was quite poor. This new one is a massive improvement over it, with richer colours thanks to LED backlight technology, and an impressive 5000000:1 dynamic contrast ratio.
Pros: LED Backlight, Price, Full HD capability, HDCP Compliant, Looks very modern.
Summary: When it comes to LCD monitors "Benq" is not a brand I come across often, in fact it only caught my eye because of the usual model number "G2222HDL." This was enough to poke my interest and since I was looking for a new monitor to replace my aging existing one, I decided after doing some online research (and realising the modest price tag) to embrace the whim and buy it.
Pros: Cost, Design, Quality Of LCD Screen, HD Quality Playback,
Cons: No Built-In Speakers or HDMI Sockets, Manual Controls On Monitor, Stand Limited.
