Summary: I've had a BenQ FP731 for about six months with no problems. I bought it at about $300 and it had the best specs for the price at the time and that still seems to be the case. It is only 9 Lbs, which is good if you're travelling and it has a clean appearance and feels solid.
Summary: With the purchase of this monitor, I finally joined the LCD monitor club. I think it is time for everyone to join the club and what better way than with this monitor ! Great price. Great quality. Takes only a couple of minutes to set up.
Summary: The monitor had no bad pixels, and has a good display. It is a little bright on white pages but not offensive. Documenttion is weak. Did have a slight problem getting it to be recognized by Windows 98 but did not need any special help to put it into service.
Excerpt: We recently updated our computer monitors in the office from the old type to new LCD flat panel displays. Don't ask me exactly why the company opted for the Benq FP731 although I presume it was on price and that they got a good deal from a supplier.
Pros: Cheap to purchase . Easy to set up and use . Great picture quality .
Excerpt: The answer is YES, I have used many LCD monitors in my time and BenQ's always are excellent quality and do the job. This monitor is an excellent monitor which can get to a max resolution of 1280 x 1024 as its a 17 inch monitor. Max refresh rate is 75.
Pros: Excellent and I mean Excellent Quailty Monitor !
Excerpt: I recently purchased a BenQ FP731 17inch TFT Monitor as my old CRT (The ones that look like TV's.) was getting long in the tooth. TFT as you may know it are the new type of monitors on the market (You may know them as LCD's).
Excerpt: Ok am not an I.T expert but i like to think that i am upto date in the computer hardware world so here is my review and guide to buying a tft monitor. Back in December 2003 I decided to upgrade my monitor from a 14 inch CRT (cathode-ray tube) to at least a 17 inch TFT (Thin Film transistor) or LCD...
Excerpt: The FP731 has been around for a little while now, and I have owned mine since October 2003. I bought it for over £250, and now it has dropped below this price and represents a good value for money 17 inch flat screen monitor. Benq have provided an excellent TFT monitor which is beautifully designed.
Summary: Parliamo di un monitor LCD. Premetto che non faccio parte assolutamente della categoria di persone che osannano gli LCD, nonostante i miei problemi di spazio a casa. Io posseggo felicemente un CRT della LG da 19'' e mi trovo fin troppo bene.
