Thank you BenQ for a great monitor

someone, Amazon
11 April 2015
  • Summary: In august of 2014, I became very sick (long gradual decline since 2007), in part due to my job as a software engineer. I was facing nausea and migraine headaches nearly every day. Coworkers could see me visibly ill and asked why I didnt go home.

Good for the eyes

Harvey Steinhaus, Amazon
3 April 2015
  • Summary: The monitor has worked very well for me. I have eye strain with some programs using my Dell 24" monitor, mainly because the text is too pixelated. The Ben Q has more dense text.

it was a great product. Mine

Joe Fullerton, Amazon
2 February 2015
  • Summary: When the monitor worked, it was a great product. Mine, unfortunately, was shipped with a defunct power system. Both the power button (& associated menu buttons) and AC adapter connection did not work. I ended up returning the monitor.

Reduces eye strain

Marilyn Hummel, Amazon
14 January 2015
  • Summary: Bought two of these monitors because of eye strain from regular monitors. These are supposed to use low blue light, a source of eye strain. Right away we noticed our eyes were not feeling strained as before. I would recommend this monitor. One hitch are the connections: VGA and HDMI.

I applaud BenQ's efforts to make more eye friendly hardware. It just didn't work for me.

  • Summary: I liked this monitor but returned it. My sons loved the 27 inch screen for games and movies. It will be a good product for another customer. I have concluded that my eyes are sensitive to LED back lighting. The BenQ website promoting the 'Eye-care' line looked like it was written for me.

Best monitor at this price range.

22 September 2014
  • Summary: Before purchasing this BenQ monitor, I've been considering similar in price and size monitors from Samsung, HP, and Acer. After couple of weeks of comparing stats, reading reviews, and checking how most of them look and operate in my local stores - I've made my decision.

It would be a good choice if you don't require sharp and colorful screen

sunniewh, Amazon
4 September 2014
  • Summary: This is what we are looking for. Zero flicker, low blue light can protect your eyes if you have sensitive eyes to sharp light. It would be a good choice if you don't require sharp and colorful screen. BTW, we bought two of this.

User Review

Veloxlacus, NCIX.com
15 March 2014
  • Summary: I bought this to replace My 24" Asus monitor. I wanted 27" to play console games, PC games and watch videos. The 2 HDMI and 1 VGA port were enough for my need. I also wanted speakers so that I could keep my desk clean.
  • Pros: Great contrast, Love the thin edges, Overall design is simple yet great looking, OSD is a charm
  • Cons: Colors are a bit of a hassle to get on the sweet spot, Speakers are almost useless, big void sound, even at max volume, Audio output for HDMI is the same quality as the speakers, useless
