Summary: This display looks and preforms well but the sound is disappointingly quiet. The speakers are quiet and poor quality. I think my phone probably performs better in this area. Good screen though and sound needn't be of concern to anyone using other speakers / headphones.

Summary: This is an excellent piece of equipment for a PC monitor with plenty USB sockets and various connections (see details). However, the brightness at default, is too high for my liking, but easy to adjust once the controls, set into the right hand side of the monitor, have been mastered - not simple. Very pleased with the unit and would recommend to anyone not wanting those huge screens. This provides a good display.
Summary: Overall this is a great monitor. Since I was replacing an old iMac with a PC, the convenient USB hub and audio jacks made the transition from an all-in-one computer to a tower that little bit easier. The quality of the plastic casing does verge on looking slightly cheap in quality but without being tacky. For the price and the function you get, this can be overlooked. I also have to question the design choice of placing the controls on the side of the monitor.
Summary: Am very happy with this purchase. Good display and stunning colours and the monitor itself looks very smart and the black frame matches my new pc tower. The additional ports (HDMI and VGA) mean I am able to use both my old and new desktops plugged into it at different times of course, just by switching the input to the relevant one. I think it is good value.
Summary: I've been using this monitor for 11 days. it has been used exclusively with my PS3 via a HDMI connection. I have no previous experience with High Definition. I like this monitor a lot. Cables supplied: VGA/VGA, 3.5mm/3.5mm audio, USBB/USBA, UK power, EU power. As reviewer James Stevens pointed out, HDMI auto switching is disabled by default so you have to press enter a few times until you're on the right input.
Summary: This monitor comes with the most confusing written instruction I have ever come across. It is not until you load the CD that it begins to make some sort of sense, but even then some of the instructions are still confusing. What made it more difficult for me was the problem I was experiencing with the graphics driver on my computer. To date I still can't maintain a constant picture on the monitor and keep having to go back to the desk top on my laptop.
Summary: I've not bought benq before, my son chose this screen cos it was cheaper, but I have been pleasantly surprised by the picture quality - its very clear and bright, with good colours, and is at least as good as the similar sized iiyama I also recently bought. The sound is a little quiet, but works fine and is reasonable quality - however, with an audio-out, you can always blast it via externals, if you so wish.
