Summary: I waited about 6 months to give this review to see how I would really like/dislike this monitor. Well so far so good, no dead pixels, picture is clear and sharp and the colors still look great. I also like the multiple HDMI ports so it's super easy to switch between PC and PS3 at will. Now this monitor just runs my server so it stays on 24/7 with the monitor going to sleep after 4 hours of non activity so i would say it has about 350 to 400 hours of "on" time so far.
Summary: Display is satisfactory, the control buttons are not. Don't ever plan on using the on/off button with this monitor. The buttons are poorly marked, close together, small, and hard to see with buttons that activate by the smallest amount of contact. I would not purchase this monitor again for how stupid the control buttons are on it. Otherwise it displays stuff ok, tilt is nice, HD video from camcorder not so great.
Summary: Pretty good monitor for the price. I was looking for a 27" monitor for $300 or less with a 1920x1080 resolution (I would prefer 2560x1440 but didn't want to spend over $500 or take a chance on buying one of those rejected Apple monitors from Korea off of eBay) so with thorough research I decided to pull the trigger and get this one. Pros: - Thin bezel and sleek design. Looks very nice. - The IPS panel looks really good, with great viewing angles.
Summary: Asus has the worst customer services I have ever had the displeasure of contacting. My product broke and they are making ZERO effort to replace it. If you want to be lied to and sent in circles, spending hours on the phone with people unable or unwilling to help this is the brand for you. Products are good until they break, at which point I wish you luck getting them fixed. Two months and I still have no resolution.
Summary: Great monitor! Colors are bright and vivid. The only downsides are it's 1920x1080 and there is no VESA mount on the back. If you aren't worried about higher resolution or the mounting possibilities, I'd recommend this monitor.
