Summary: I bought another one recently to run 2. I could have gone out and bought 2 new monitors, the money wasn't the reason i bought a used monitor, this monitor is just that good. I have one, why not 2?
Pros: This monitor has never hiccuped in the 6 years I have owned it. Even though it is 6 years old, if you can find one for sale, expect to pay as much as some new monitors about the same size. There's a reason for this, it is a great monitor. Asus built a great monitor and if I need a new one, I most...
Cons: Speakers aren't the greatest, but that is not what I bought it for.
Summary: 25.5 in. is the maximum size I would want for gaming @ 1080/1200p if you're going to be sitting close to the monitor.
Pros: Lots of screen space. I like the 16:10 aspect ratio vs. 16:9. I haven't lost a pixel yet. Sturdy. Got it dirt cheap in 2009 and it's served me well. Don't expect to replace it until 4K gets cheap.
Cons: Stock color settings are funky, but a quick internet search can get you better settings that look great.
Pros: Love this monitor. The size is great. Lots of room. The colors are good. I read a review about it before I bought it from someone that had sent 3 back because they had 1 artifact. This one has ONE as well. One pixel that stays white - I've got a black desk top which is the only reason I ever saw ...
Cons: No cons. I wrote another review earlier where the con was I never got my rebate. Sincerely, Celeste ASUS Customer Loyalty Responded to my review and I took her up on her offer of contacting her and I got my Rebate. So now nothing but a happy camper.
Summary: Had this monitor since march of 2009, seems like it just went bad 8/2012. The black light has gone out, before it stopped working i would hear a buzzing sound when I would first turn on the monitor which would eventually go away, after a few months asides from the buzzing it then started to power...
Pros: Geat color, a lot of inputs built in speakers not the best but its a monitor not a tv,
Cons: cant adjust the height on this beast monitor, the buttons to switch video mode/menu/volume are tough to identify if you are in a dark room
Pros: GIANT! This thing is pretty beastly. I've had no problems with dead pixels and the color looks fine! The speakers aren't the best, but chances are if you buy this thing you probably will have external speakers ready to go anyways.
Summary: If I had the space and money, I'd buy two more!
Pros: Have had this monitor for 8 months now and haven't had a single problem. Works beautifully for watching movies, playing games and graphic editing. The size and the clear picture just makes everything easier to do while using the computer. The price was also perfect for me. Definitely not as expen...
Great buy for the size/performance in high end gaming

Summary: It's truly a great monitor for the money, and the only reason I'd replace it is if I upgraded to multiple 3d monitor setup. If you're on the fence with this one, I'd go for it. That's how I felt at first, but then when remembering how well my previous ASUS monitor held up, I decided to go for it and...
Pros: I've been using this monitor in my latest build for ~9 months and it has performed flawlessly in high-powered gaming sessions day after day. It's been used very heavily and has held up very well. The gloss finish is nice if your environment is not dusty, but it will attract noticeable dust otherw...
Cons: Non-fixable, stuck on blue-green pixel after 3-4 months of heavy use. But, that's the risk you take when ordering online and use the monitor as much as I do.
Please Asus/Amazon - Bring Back this 1920x1200 Gem!!

Summary: I have owned this monitor for about a year now, and agree with the majority of the positive reviews. It's not absolute perfection, but for under USD$300, Asus knocked the ball out of the park with the VW266H.
