Excerpt: Overall I'm happy with this monitor. I've hooked it up to my PS4 and my Surface Pro 3. For gaming, it works well and the fast response time shows. However, the colors are a bit off, and there is a bit of a faded look to it sometimes that I took some pains to minimize. I found it helped to mount the monitor above my eye-line and tilt it upwards, this helped eliminate some of the shiny/grayness from the colors.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Fast response time, Lightweight
Excerpt: This monitor is used for a wide variety of software, including scans of family history and correcting tears, blisters, etc. on photographs. To a lesser degree it is used for video including real-time TV.It worked immediately, once I connected the cables (an easy task). The display is clear and the colors are generally bright and true. However, this monitor doesn't quite have as warm and realistic a rendition as the Samsung it replaced (due to screen failure).
Pros: Adjustable, Easy To Set Up, Lightweight, Sharp Image, Vivid Colors
Cons: Color Balance A Bit Off, Docs Difficult To Read, Poor Adjustability
Summary: I've got this 27" Asus VS278Q-P monitor a couple of week ago, and so far it performs well. I didn't see any dead pixels, which was an issue in some of the reviews I read before making up my mind on this monitor. While I'm quite happy overall, one irritating thing to mention is a very high brightness.
Summary: This was a big upgrade from an 8 year old 1980x1200 Dell 2405fpw 24". My eyes can now read without squinting at native resolution. The slight loss of vertical resolution combined with a bigger screen did not result in any loss of graphics quality in gaming and text is nice and crisp and proper sized for reading. For the price its unmatched. While probably one of the last TN panels, the IPS price doesnt quite justify the added costs. Get one of these while you can!
Pros: Nice big clear screen.
Cons: ATI driver had GPU scaling down 15% for some reason creating a windowed mode which was easily checked back to 0% and Fullscreen. Not a big problem and quickly remedied in catalyst under > My digital flat panels > Flat panels properties.
Summary: Let me start off by saying the screen quality is brilliant. Images and videos appear in full detail and the colours are really good. The gaming performance is very good. I definitely noticed the fast response time from my old TV. The buttons provided are very useful and work without a hitch. Standby mode is very useful and the screen turns on very quickly. However, where I thought there would not be a problem, there became one.
Great picture and good connectivity, but returned to Amazon due to faulty speakers.

Summary: First of all the positive: great looking monitor, great picture, and great connectivity. All video inputs are independent so you can use them all, and switch easily between them with a single button push on the front (not as obvious as it sounds, if you've lived with older monitors). It's lightweight, and quite compact on your desk since the base lets it be pushed fairly close to the wall.
Summary: I love this monitor ive been using it to play ps4/360 and as a computer monitor, its a big upgrade from my old small tv because it was hard to read text when writing essays etc. but as a gaming monitor its not the greatest. When playing GTA there was a blue shadow around the cars and buildings when I moved the camera around objects and even on the Dashboard of both PS4 and 360 its shows a bluish shadow when speeding through the tabs.... maybe its too fast?
Summary: I bought this monitor to use for gaming on my PS3 and it's fair to say that it met those expectations. Now I don't know if the 1ms response time does make a difference to the human eye, but this was the main selling point for me and decided to go for it anyway. I also plan to use this monitor with the PS4 when it finally releases, so I'm sure it's going to be great for that too and better since the PS4 supports Full HD which this monitor does too.
