Great e-IPS Monitor for the money. HDMI takes tweaking but it is not the monitor's fault.

Summary: PROs: - e-IPS panel. At this low price, this is not a professional unit but 99.9999% of people will not notice the 6-bit color or 20% reduction in color gamut. The image is quite sharp with wide viewing angle IPS screens are famous for. - HDMI in - Audio out (in conjunction with HDMI in) Cons: - Flimsy stand - Useless color temperature presets For people who ran into fuzzy image problem (me included) using the HDMI connection, it is not the monitor's fault Most video...
Summary: For starters, we have to look at my old monitor. It was great when it was in like new condition. Samsung usually makes good monitors. However, I started noticing a lot of lines throughout performance for the last 6 weeks or so. I found out that it means the capacitor is going bad, but I also discovered online that capacitors are easy to fix. I am pretty good, but I do not want to be without a monitor at all. The Samsung monitor was like a lot of my previous purchases..
Summary: This is my first HD Monitor and it makes everything look more real. I am enjoying all of my games as if new because I am seeing and noticing things I never did before. Absolutely a stunningly beautiful picture. Pros: -Great Picture -D-Sub, DVI, and HDMI Inputs -Easy to Navigate Menus for Settings -Stand Assembles with you hands, no tools needed -Uses a regular PC Power Cord, no special plug or DC converter needed Cons: -Not really an issue with the monitor, but more the...
Summary: I bought 2 of these for a dual mount setup and they have worked out beautifully. The picture is great when I'm gaming or watching video. I could not be more happy with my purchase. Well worth the price.
Summary: Replaced a dying Samsung 226BW with this. Viewing angles, colours, and contrast are exactly what I expect from an IPS panel. Factory setting is pretty good - turned down the brightness and it could do with some calibration, but it is very nice when considering the price point. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again or recommend to anyone looking for a budget IPS monitor.
Summary: I'm a gamer and not much of a color quality snob but I could easily tell the difference between IPS and non-IPS when I first turned it on. The color quality is great, screen refresh rate is fine and has no ghosting. I had no dead pixels on arrival and it stays pretty clean. I haven't dusted it in over 6 months and there's only a thin layer on it, so it's not a dust magnet.
Summary: The screen is great. Colours are clearly defined and much more accurate than any TN panel. I don't play intensive first person shooters but for real-time strategy games such as Total Wars this monitor works fine. It will be awesome to set up a workstation with 2 of these monitors. Seriously, once you have an IPS monitor, it will require adaptation to go back to a TN panel. My work has typical 17" monitors with dual setup, and they just don't compare to IPS.
Summary: Bought this in April of last year. Color was okay but scanlines starting appearing on the right side of the screen. 1. Tried changing cables 2. HDMI, VGA, DVI 3. Tried changing refresh rate. Called customer service, they said they would send me RMA slip. Never got the slip. warranty is almost expired. Cannot reach customer service.
Summary: So i bought this monitor around Christmas, and all i can say is that it has definitely impressed me. I upgraded from a 1440x900 monitor i had for quite some time that was starting to go bad. I mainly game on this computer, so i wanted 1080p. I saw this one and looked into ips panel technology and im not going back. This monitor makes the colors pop on anything i play or watch.
Summary: ultra safe packaging, came in during a practice date with a cute girl. I almost did not care about the cute girl. this thing is amazingly high end. only downfall is no built in speaker, but has a single 3.5 jack so i can use my quality speakers with it.
