Summary: Bought this in April of last year. Color was okay but scanlines starting appearing on the right side of the screen. 1. Tried changing cables 2. HDMI, VGA, DVI 3. Tried changing refresh rate. Called customer service, they said they would send me RMA slip. Never got the slip. warranty is almost expired. Cannot reach customer service.
Summary: So i bought this monitor around Christmas, and all i can say is that it has definitely impressed me. I upgraded from a 1440x900 monitor i had for quite some time that was starting to go bad. I mainly game on this computer, so i wanted 1080p. I saw this one and looked into ips panel technology and im not going back. This monitor makes the colors pop on anything i play or watch.
Summary: ultra safe packaging, came in during a practice date with a cute girl. I almost did not care about the cute girl. this thing is amazingly high end. only downfall is no built in speaker, but has a single 3.5 jack so i can use my quality speakers with it.
Summary: I bought another one recently after having purchased the same monitor from another retailer, last year. Needed 2 monitors for programming and photography. I currently have both monitors on a vesa compatible dual monitor desk clamp by Halter, also available on amazon. The colors are amazing. Both monitors came in perfect, no light bleeding or dead pixels.
Summary: Great monitor. Wide viewing angle. There is one gotcha though - if the brightness is not on 100% - the backlight flickers. This is because it uses Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) to control the brightness. Basically, the LED doesn't dim - instead it turns ON/OFF about 200 times a second with varying duration of the ON phase, to create an illusion of darker image.
Summary: I use a Dell U2410 24" factory-calibrated monitor most of the day, and I've grown accustomed to a certain quality level in the mid-range monitor segment over the years with various IPS and MVA displays. Point being - I've become a tad picky. I want good viewing angles, proper color gamut reproduction, and anti-glare screens (glass screens might make the colors "pop," but after a while, it can pretty distracting trying to work on something when you feel like you're...
Summary: This is a great monitor. I had one mixed with another for two monitor setup. The LG monitor blew out in a year so I decided to get the same one (this ASUS) it worked perfectly with my older ASUS and cant be happier.
Summary: Great IPS Monitor - Vivid Colors - Great for School Work as the text is shape, shape, shape. Quality Monitor by Asus and with the HDMI you can connect your X-box for close quarters play time. You can't beat it for the price.
Amazing image quality, let down by significant backlight bleed.

Summary: ASUS VS239H-P 23-Inch Full-HD LED IPS Monitor Overall, I'm fairly satisfied with the VS239H-P. The colors are truer and richer than any TN panel I've ever seen. I'm able to see detail in movies, photos and games that I never would have thought was there. The picture quality is incredibly sharp and does not seem to suffer much, if at all, from the anti-glare coating. The only real adjustment that I had to make was brightness.
