Summary: I run a dual monitor setup, so I can see the picture quality side by side and have tried to set my older LG monitor to match (colors and saturation) with no luck. This Asus monitor is superior.
Pros: I purchased this monitor almost 3 years ago and it has worked flawlessly since. No dead or stuck pixels, flicker or other refresh issue. Most colors are more vibrant than my older LG monitor. The whites are whiter, the blues are bluer, etc.
Cons: My only complaint (however minor) is the black pixels have a slight bluish tint to them. I have adjusted my monitor as best as I can, but it appears to be the backlight bleeding through. My other [LG] monitor has very dark black pixels in comparison.
Pros: Provided 3 years of excellent service, sad to see it go but hey that's life. 1. Worked flawlessly. No dead pixels or any defects. Still works to this day. 2. Pixel density is good. 1080p on a 23" gives nice sharp images. 3. Contrast is ok. Not great but ok. 4. There's a handle on the back of the ...
Cons: 1. No speakers. I was younger at the time of purchase and didn't think to look at the specs if it had speakers or not. 2. Only 60 hz. It's great for everyday users, but for gaming it's not enough. Don't buy a super hefty GPU for this thing.
Summary: I did a lot of research before buying this monitor and it seemed to be the best budget monitor. It doesn't have a bunch of interesting features other their basic presets for theater, gaming, etc., but it does the important things really well and I have never had an issue with it.
Pros: - I've had this for 4 years and haven't had any issues. - The colors reproduction is solid and after initially configuring colors on the monitor and through windows, I haven't touched it since. - Never had any issues with blurring or anything like that - Pretty decent viewing angle
Pros: I bought two of these 2 years ago and I haven't had a single problem with them. The hardware looks great and the picture is very nice. The bottom plate of the stand screws on with a thumbscrew and is very sturdy.
