Sharp

Justin R., Newegg
13 January 2016
  • Pros: Great color, mine had no dead pixels at all. Good presets 1080p is gorgeous coming from 768p.
  • Cons: Stand looks unstable. The shiny plastic borders are a little annoying. It shows fingerprints if you brush against it slightly.

Almost 3 years running, zero problems. Great value.

David P., Newegg
30 December 2015
  • Summary: Giving this one to the wife and upgrading to 1440p :D
  • Pros: Everything you would expect from a $170 TN monitor. Really enjoyable 1080p picture quality for a good price.
  • Cons: The stand could be a little sturdier. If the desk/surface it's placed on isn't 100% rock-solid, the monitor will wobble just from typing on a keyboard...gross.

Excellent Monitor

Eric R., Newegg
11 December 2015
  • Summary: I run a dual monitor setup, so I can see the picture quality side by side and have tried to set my older LG monitor to match (colors and saturation) with no luck. This Asus monitor is superior.
  • Pros: I purchased this monitor almost 3 years ago and it has worked flawlessly since. No dead or stuck pixels, flicker or other refresh issue. Most colors are more vibrant than my older LG monitor. The whites are whiter, the blues are bluer, etc.
  • Cons: My only complaint (however minor) is the black pixels have a slight bluish tint to them. I have adjusted my monitor as best as I can, but it appears to be the backlight bleeding through. My other [LG] monitor has very dark black pixels in comparison.

Lasted 9 Months w/ Several issues

Luke F., Newegg
27 November 2015
  • Pros: The display was crisp and great looking.
  • Cons: The screen would flicker for split seconds every few hours. I though nothing of it initially, but after a few months it began to get worse. I assumed my GPU was having issues, until recently the screen turned white with black bars and flickered very rapidly. The screen was done. I tried all sorts...

Color is great, VESA support

Kyle H., Amazon
13 November 2015
  • Summary: Color is great, VESA support, and 3 monitors with perfect screens. The adaptive contrast rate is nice, but can be distracting while in a dark area of a game. I'm using the stand with three of these screens and it was exactly what I had in mind :) I was originally looking for an IPS screen, but the...

defective in slightly over a year

Christopher M., Newegg
8 November 2015
  • Pros: Great size and output for the price. Very much enjoyed while it lasted.
  • Cons: Began displaying ghost imaging just over a year into general use. Make sure you, unlike me, actually purchase the 3 year replacement. It's possible that you'll need it.
