Summary: Blatant misrepresentation - there is no HDMI input as advertised. Very disappointing and I'm this-close to returning it, but it might not be worth the hassle, I bought this as a security system monitor which will get very little use and quality is not that important. But, nonetheless, this could be a big deal to other buyers. 1 start for misrepresentation - get it fixed of you'll keep getting low reviews - I can't stand incompetence and deception.
Summary: I hate it, says it's a gaming monitor but it does not have HDMI, and i wish it displayed its shortcoming better on the actual product description. Shipping took absolutely forever, and the refund didn't even get through for another week or two. I absolutely hate you. I hope you burn in a fireless hell full of honey boo-boos. And wasps. Starvation is an option in said hell, or eat fecal matter from wasps and honey boo boo.
Summary: I needed a new monitor for #2 basically right now and this was cheap. Good thing it was cheap or I'd be pretty angry about now. This thing is totally insufficient for being someone's primary display. If 1600x900 isn't bad enough for you, trying to calibrate this POS to black and white bars will be. It can't be done. The white is always washed out beyond repair.
Summary: I bought this Asus Monitor to replace an older 18" monitor, and the difference has been like night & day...The size is absolutely perfect. Very crisp, bright and bold picture and the monitor's physical build shows quality throughout. Shipping was quick and the items was well packaged. I would highly recommend this for anyone who needs a great monitor for business and entertainment.
Summary: It would get 5 stars with HDMI input. As is, it doesn't suck. Don't use it for anything but standard output for email, web surfing and low to mid rez. videos, but for the price ~$100, it is a great little device.
