Summary: I eventually broke down and bought a Dell IPS monitor instead, which is fantastic in every regard.
Pros: It worked for a while.
Cons: It stopped working after about 1.5 years of use. When powered on, it would flash what was being displayed from the computer, then just go black. You have to plug and unplug it about 10 times to get it to stay on. From internet searches, it looks like there are a lot of other instances with the sa...
Summary: I'm not sure why the monitor has become so loud when you first start it up but it really detracts from the monitor's aesthetics. I wouldn't recommend buying it based on that alone.
Pros: The picture is great and the web cam works well.
Cons: When I first bought the monitor it was quiet. After having it for over a year it is extremely loud. When you start the monitor it makes a VERY loud buzzing noise. There is no mic that comes with the webcam so I can't talk to people. They can see me but can't hear me.
Excerpt: The monitor does have some nice features. However, as much as I am a big fan of Asus and this monitor is hooked up to a new Asus desktop computer, the monitor is only fair. Colors are vibrant on some screens and fair at best on others. Ithere seem to be better monitors for the dollar.
Summary: I bought this for my mother in law and finally went to visit and just spent the last couple hours trying to get the webcam to work. The device is not recognized at all by Windows. When attempting to launch the LifeFrame 2 software, it simply says "LifeFrame 2 has stopped working."
Pros: Image quality Light Matte Screen
Cons: Webcam doesn't work No Microphone Viewing angle Webcam is fixed angle
It is stupid to include a webcam without a microphone

Summary: A built-in webcam with no microphone. The built-in speakers has very minimal sound in a whisper. This product is very frustrating. It is stupid to include a webcam without a microphone. That's just logical.
Summary: Just a warning, I bought this to use with my MacMini that runs on the Mountain Lion operating system, and my computer is not interfacing well with the webcam or speakers. The camera works with iPhoto, but not Google Hangout or Skype.
Summary: This monitor works but the colors suck and there is no way to make it look good especially if you have multiple monitors of different types. My other Asus monitor is awesome. This one is junk.
Summary: For the price, its an ok monitor; in general, you can do way better spending just a little bit more. Here's to another example of 'you get what you pay for'.
Pros: good features, good price, good refresh rate. At my door less than 48 hours, you Rock Newegg!
Cons: My kingdom for some COLOR! Way too bright, washes out any darker colors. Huge pain trying to calibrate this monitor, I had CRANK the brightness way down in order to get some fidelity out of darker blues and whatnot, and they're still washed out like someone dumped bleach on my screen. I'm really ...
