Summary: Highly recommend this over any other monitor in this range, the combination of ports/size/price/height/swivel/tilt make this thing the best buy i've found in a long time. Even our power users who are used to 1920x1200 monitors are happy with these since the pixels are bigger and the users are...
Pros: The colors on this thing are amazing. Definitely puts others to shame in most categories. The size is perfect for office use, 1080p at 23.6" is a really good size for people of all ages. We've gotten over 20 of these for people and only had one that died after a few weeks, RMA was not too difficu...
Summary: First experience with ASUS displays and they did not dissappoint. Thanks ASUS.
Pros: Finally a monitor with height adjustment that travels accross a broad range. This thing gets so high my wife has to get a ladder to lower it. I am very tall and sitting at the desk I am currently using was killing my neck when viewing my old 22" Samsung. This thing gets up to a more than comforta...
Cons: Not really a con but I don't believe that monitor speakers will ever be worth mentioning in the advertisement for a monitor.
Summary: I would buy another one of these in an instant.
Pros: The height adjustment is VERY useful. I have taken this monitor on 2 trips out of town and it helps keep the monitor at a good position. The screen is matte and there are less fingerprints and reflections. ASUS is a maker of high quality items. Great for watching video. No dead or stuck pixels.
Cons: The bezel is glossy and attracts fingerprints and dust. The buttons are sometimes hard to press, but you will get used to them after a bit. i know both of these going in and they are minor cons. The pros definitely outweigh the cons.
Summary: 1 of 3 ordered just showed an on-again off-again fading of the reds. Thought it was cable because wiggling the cable corrected the issue. But that was only temporary. Issue is more persistent, and even when removing the DVI cable, fuzzy color is apparent in the "No Signal" message that appears on...
Pros: Great price, viewing adjustability, input flexibility, speakers.
Cons: On-screen Menu is a bit annoying to get used to navigating, but not impossible.
Summary: Replaced a Dell 2001FP and Acer AL1916 with these. I wanted the full 1080p resolution and it's nice to have matching monitors.
Pros: Awesome price, great picture and gaming performance. Love the various ways to can adjust the monitor height/swivel/tilt. Lots of features and supports HDMI. I honestly can't even tell where the speakers are and that always irritated me about some TV/Monitors when they just stuck some speakers on ...
Cons: Default settings are a little bright. I reduced the brightness by 20 and set the mode to Theater. Glossy piano black finish shows smudges easily.
Pros: Nice screen, no dead pixels, decent quality frame and stand.
Cons: Monitor worked for 10hrs, then died. I had tossed the shipping boxes, so couldn't RMA with Newegg. Sent it to Asus servicing and they fixed and returned the monitor within a week. Had to pay shipping there, but Newegg helped me out with a credit, excellent service by both Newegg and Asus warranty...
Summary: This is the best monitor I have ever owned. I've had Samsung, Viewsonic, and KDS. I love this monitor. Also, it's great for gaming, no ghosting at all. Get it, the only thing is you can't literally make love to it.
Pros: Bright, No Dead Pixels, Different Mode Presets, the blue LED isn't freaking blinding, has speakers(So you can use it straight up with a ps3 or xbox360 with HDMI), The stand is worth the price of the entire monitor, it tilts and swivels with ease!
Summary: No dead pixels on mine. I'm really tempted to buy a 2nd so I can have a 2 monitor setup. Take your time setting up your colors. The presets aren't the best.
Pros: Beautiful picture! Easy setup, especially in Win7. The height adjustment is a great thing to have, especially at this price point. It's fast, so there's no ghosting or any other issues that I see as I'm zooming around L4D2.
Cons: The Input Select button is right next to the Power button. In case you're not getting a picture, check that setting! (Happened to me once while my brain was in a fog.)
