Cons: It is starting to show its age with a thicker, deeper enclosure. Accidentally hit the button next to the power on/off to cycle the input un-knowingly on occasion. It takes a few seconds to figure out why the screen is black.
Summary: For the price good monitor, good size, minor issues, would recommend to any looking for a basic monitor
Pros: Size of the monitor is perfect, whether gaming or just browsing the internet. Screen resolution remains with no dead pixels after a year. I have enjoyed the product
Cons: Over the last three months while using the computer in any number of scenarios, it randomly refreshes. Screen goes blank for 1-3 seconds. I cycle the power on it regularly. It happens while gaming, internet use, or system use, kind of annoying.
Pros: Great monitor. Runs like a champ helps me play like one.
Cons: This monitor has been with me for years now and I have only had 1 issue. On day 1 of it arriving I was playing the the buttons and what not like any giddy child on Christmas. While said playing was going on, one of the buttons snapped and bent way back and is now unusable. It was only a mild flaw...
Cons: Tried to register it with ASUS but the online service insisted that its s/n was not valid. Number was the same on the back of the unit and the box it came in. Tried several times but the number just wouldn,t take. Probably could have called and done the registration over the phone, but I did not ...
Summary: I haven't tested out the speakers because I have a nice set of headphones that I use. The power light is a little annoying but a little bit of electrical tape and it isn't a problem.
Pros: The screen is big. It was easy to set up.
Cons: At the max resolution, 1920 x 1080, the the image seems like it is emulated. Like if you try to run the same resolution on a screen that only has a max resolution of 1600 x 900. It really isn't that noticeable but I have fairly keen eyes. I always tease my family for having completely messed up s...
Pros: Bright, vivid colors. Easy to set up (the monitor just snaps into the base). Stand has a hole right in the center to route cables out of sight.
Cons: 1 stuck red pixel right in the center, about 3" from the top that I haven't been able to get rid of. It's a little wobbly, too, but it's not too bad.
Cons: Forgot to say that this monitor will not work with a 1366x768 resolution. Usually not a problem unless you are trying to get a game to a playable frame rate by lowering resolution. See my other review for rest of cons.
Pros: Have had this monitor for over half a year, and am as pleased with it today as when I first got it. It is a very solid monitor all around. Colors are good, looks good, black is good (in my opinion, there is some white bleed on edges but it is not bad). Getting the colors to where I wanted them to...
Cons: The monitor stand only tilts up and down, no sidways or pivot stuff. But for sideways you can just move the monitor stand on the desk and few stock stands have pivot anyways.
