good, but not great. color is excellent for TN LCD. too heavy. poor stand

Summary: prices are falling for this model. i wouldn't purchase it unless you buy it under $120. in comparison with several monitors I own or have owned, the color is the best among TN LCDs. that and the removable stand are why i gave it a 4/5. However, I had a lot of gripes using this. The stand is the worst design I've seen yet: plenty of screws, metal, and to reattach it for desktop use, you have to pop open a cover that needs pliers to remove.
Great monitor! Fairly easy to set up even on my mac!

Summary: This is my 1st large flat-screen monitor, and I got a good deal on it. Once I figured out how to use it, it's been great. The only downer I have found with it is that the control buttons are not lit up like other monitors I'd seen- in fact, it was an unpleasant surprise. I had to use a flashlight to find a particular button. Once I got used to it though, it was fine; now I can do it by feel. I would recommend it.
Summary: Good monitor, great value. Only complaints are that the built in speakers are really not great and the stand seems a little flimsy. As with any monitor make sure that you stress test it by leaving it on for the first 48 hours that you have it. If nothing breaks you can be assured that you have a pretty good product that will last awhile under normal usage; if something does break, well it's still under warranty.
