Summary: Good value monitor. There's some noticeable light bleed from the top and bottom of the picture, extending about a cm. It's only noticeable on dark images. There's also a noticeable buzzing sound that comes from the monitor depending on the brightness setting.
Good value - might want to rethink if you use KVM switch

Summary: I'm usually a die-hard Samsung monitor user, but for various reasons I needed a 23-inch LDC monitor and this ASUS came in with the right specs at a good price. I'm overall pleased with the unit, the color is nice and - very important to me - NO DEAD PIXELS!
Summary: EDIT: I recently watched another movie with the built in speakers and what I originally said about the audio distortion after a cretin range is incorrect, what I experienced was mostly due to low quality audio from the file I was watching; with the higher quality audio it was quite distinct and...
ASUS VH236H 23 Inch Widescreen LCD Monitor - Black

Summary: Got the monitor for $150-$20 rebate. Great monitor for the price. It met all my requirements like inbuilt speaker and multiple option for input. I use HDMI to connect this to my laptop. Good for work + watching movies. The speaker on the monitor is also good for casual movie viewing.
Summary: I bought this as a replacement to an old dell 19 inch that came with my old computer. I was a little concerned about dead pixels, flimsy stands, and light bleed I'd read about in other monitor reviews. After getting this I put it through a pretty thorough inspection.
Summary: I'm actually using this as a TV on my desk. It's plugged into an HDMI distributor. I'm not looking for videophile-quality viewing, so this does the job perfectly and for cheap. And it's hard to beat for the price.
Summary: I bought this monitor specifically because it is (was?) the official monitor of the Evolution Fighting Game Tournament held yearly during mid-summer. The reason that organization has chosen this monitor for their event is because of its relatively low input lag time.
Summary: After searching almost exclusively for an LED monitor, buying a highly rated Acer, and then promptly returning it... I found this Gem. Less than $150 after mail-in rebate with every feature I needed, I was sold!
Summary: I bought this item for a client works well. It has plenty of connections for everything: VGA, DVI, and even HDMI. It has a decent response time for gaming. Of course this is not a IPS display so don't expect color accuracy or viewing angles.
