Summary: This monitor is good except for one thing: there is a delay in playing audio, so you usually have to rewind by about 2 seconds each time there is a silence. Not too bad, but can be real annoying.
Summary: This is a very nice monitor.. and very functional with the various video connections (vga, dvi, and hdmi) as well as the integrated speakers. Nice image and sound... great for limited desk space... the base is low-profile but provides stability for the unit. Highly recommended ! I'm thinking about buying a second one for my home office.
Summary: Great for HD viewing if you're looking straight at the screen, but not good for viewing from an angle of more than 45 degrees. Speakers are average at best. Over-all with the rebates this is a good buy, but if I had it to do over again I would purchase the speakers separately as I listen to a lot of music on my computer. Make sure to purchase your HDMI cable for 1080 viewing. It is not supplied with monitor.
Summary: I got this monitor as an second screen for my Macbook pro so I could have more screen space when doing design work. The design of the monitor looks good and hook up was easy, the only con I have is that the screen is not as clear as my Macbook (2008 non-Retina). Even at the monitors highest resolution the text is not as crisp and colors seam to be over saturated. I have adjusted the on monitor settings and still have not got the text clear.
Summary: Pros: VGA, HDMI, and DVI input with front panel select button: I use DVI to connect to an iMac (as an extended desktop) and HDMI to a PC laptop (as an external monitor). Both PC and Mac recognized this monitor immediately and have all screen options available. Obviously you can't watch both inputs simultaneously, but having a button to switch between them is very convenient. Built-in speakers: It's weak but sufficient for basic video watching.
Summary: PROS ~ Decent picture quality (HDMI to HDMI Cable) 4/5. ~ No input lag. 5/5 ~ Fast response time. 4/5 ~ 60hz Refresh Rate CONS ~Color reproduction accuracy is a little off. ~Can be a little choppy at times with the Trace 60% or higher. (HDMI to HDMI Cable) ~*DIDN'T COME WITH REBATE LABEL* ! Keep in mind this comes from a gamer's PoV so I don't care about anything else but how it performs with games.
Summary: We are pleased with our Asus VH232H monitor. The monitor's size provides a lot of computing real estate and makes it easy to work on multiple documents or programs simultaneously. The colors are bright and vibrant with excellent contrast. And the resolution is sharp. The built-in speakers are adequate for regular computing noises and background music. But I reckon that hard-core gamers will want an independent speaker system.
