Summary: Basically, the stupid thing more or less fell apart on me in LESS THAN TWO YEARS? C'mon Asus.. stop making your stuff in China. I have a bunch of red pixels and lines that move up and down on the left side of my screen and covers about 1/5th of the monitor. Don't get me wrong, ASUS makes..
Pros: When it worked, it was an absolutely BEAUTIFUL monitor, wide, LOUD volume, and very sleek
Cons: Menu is a pain to use and tricky to figure out with the buttons (sounds stupid, but it is) Didn't die, but red lines/pixels that are fluctuating on the left side of the screen... did this on a dime
Cons: After a little over a year the screen started to spazz out on me. There is now a green tint on the left side of the monitor that is slowly spreading across the screen. I've tried everything from switching out the wires, changing from HDMI to DVI, and even connecting it to a different computer. No...
Summary: Really like the product but it seems it could be a common thing with this model. Seen a few reviews similar to my issue.
Pros: Very nice picture quality. Got a nice deal for it
Cons: About 6 months from receiving my VH232H It displayed a pink section to the right side. Told myself I could deal with it if it doesn't get worse. Now, 1 year from receiving the monitor, it finally went full pink and delays like crazy. Pretty bummed out because now I'm stuck with a fat screen monit...
Cons: Bought 2. First one had issues within 2 months. Reds dont show correctly. 2nd one a few months later, now only shows in a light, pixelated green image that shakes. Tried all inputs on multiple machines. These were junk from day one basically.
Summary: The integrity of the Asus brand has completely plummeted for me. This is not the first product that I've owned of theirs that has just been made poorly. Asus Customer service completely sucks, I waited on the phone for far longer than I should have, listening to their hold music which sounds the...
Pros: Pretty nice, vibrant display, hdmi, vga, dmi etc, some decent settings, yeah, cool price, good thing there's a three year warranty
Cons: Shortest life span of any monitor I have ever owned. Completely burnt out in less than a year of careful use. It is as if this monitor decided to eat a strip of acid, and started circuit-bending itself, had a horrible trip and never came back.
Summary: It was bad with just the gradients. But now that the screen completely goes nuts when I turn it on so I'm compelled to get a new monitor. I know ASUS doesn't manufacture the panels but I believe this speaks to their quality control. I won't be buying another monitor from them.
Pros: Worked perfectly for about 1 year. Good response, color
Cons: After one year, there was a green gradient that appeared on the left side of the monitor. It got worse over time with a purple gradient on the right. Today, the monitor completely spazzed out with the screen entirely purple tinted and with completely delayed response. The screen had streaks of pu...
Pros: Works well when connected via DVI, unfortunately I want to use HDMI
Cons: Screen has an overall blue hue when connected HDMI. I have hooked it up 2 different computers with the same result. No adjustments possible with HDMI, with DVI you can adjust but menu system is difficult to navigate.
