Summary: Thank you for years of service, but I just upgraded to the ASUS PB298Q 29". I hope for 10+ years from that one.
Pros: Ok, so I bought this monitor back in like 2003. I know it's no longer for sale, but I had to right a testament to it's labor. 12 years, I've taken this thing to the military with me, over 5 duty stations and 2 countries with me. Packed, unpacked, bounced around, and abused. This thing won't die!!...
Cons: Colors are ok, and angles are not the best, but it's a tn panel so those are both given, not knocking eggs for it.
Summary: A friend helped me build a computer and this was the screen I chose. Though ASUS is supposed to be pretty tops on their monitors, I was rather disappointed with the sickly life mine displayed and demise after 4 years.
Pros: Awesome size with good colors, no dead pixels, and easy enough to adjust using menu features. I got a decent amount of use out of it. The stand adjusts enough to make for comfortable viewing.
Cons: An on and off again solid yellow vertical line developed on my screen that was superpositioned above everything after about a year and a half. This made reading or working on documents exceedingly annoying and could definitely make you upset while gaming. I sent it to them, they couldn't replicat...
Summary: The product was not as advertised. It was advertised as (Like New) but it was not even close to being as advertised. It would turn on, but it would not stay on. On the shipping box there was a note that said (Turns on but will not stay on) and that's exactly what it does.
Summary: Great monitor if It wasn't so static-y. Sorry for the late review. My Graphics Card came dead on arrival.
Pros: Great screen and resolution, Perfect for a desk area to play games on and use lightly.
Cons: Huge static issue. I have no idea why but every 5 minutes it gets static-y. I've changed the power cord and the HDMI cord 3 times and it just doesn't work out. Maybe I have a loose connection. Everything just gets light and blue.
