Pros: I have this monitor setup in my home office and use it for work and gaming. I have my PC connected to it as well as my PS4 and I love it for both. I previously had 4 23" monitors and wanted to downsize to 2 monitors but wanted to also increase the size of my main monitor and this fit my needs per...
Cons: Only Con is that if fits my needs so good I now want a second to match.
Summary: Overall this was a great monitor. With that first line you may wonder why I'm giving it a 3. Well after 3 years of use it has committed suicide. It now makes a whining noise and the video is completely broken up. The cost of shipping it in and getting it repaired.
BRIGHT monitor with built-in 3D emitter and 2nd Gen. Nvidia 3D glasses
1 December 2015
Summary: This monitor is BRIGHT. I tried the earlier 3D Vision (with the red-blue glasses) on a Samsun monitor, but everything was wayyyy too dark. I have a GTX 980 Graphics card and a pretty strong gaming rig with SSD drive, 16 Gigs ram, and I'm seeing 100+ FPS playing Everquest-2 in 2D.
Excerpt: I bought this monitor specifically to go with a new computer with a high-end nVidia graphics card and a 3D Vision 2 kit (that I purchased separately). This monitor works flawlessly with the card and the 3D Vision glasses, and it's been a lot of fun using it.
Pros: This was a great monitor for the first few years I had it.
Cons: After 2 years of owning this monitor the menu buttons stopped responding. I have to unplug the monitor to shut it off. Also the brightness / color is off and I have no way to adjust it properly.I did try to adjust it in my Nividia control panel but I can't get it to look right.
