Summary: Perfect monitor, awesome 3D for movies and more, not really a fan of 3D gaming, but this can handle it! nice colors and more, 4 stars because i came with 1 of those whites that you can see it when the sceen turns to black when using it.
Summary: Cannot overclock this pretty much at all, got about 70hz and that was it. I was able to get 2560x 1440 on the screen res no problem. Though I did not try to go any higher on the screen reso. Personally I wish I would've skipped on the 3d and just got a higher hz/resolution monitor for the money.
Pros: I have owned this monitor for 10 months now. The colors are very rich and bright, I have it setting next to my LG TV and it blows it away on the colors and quality of the screen. The Default menu options are actually useful where as most tv/monitors always seem to look a bit off. The swivel stand...
Cons: 3d is useless for the most part, if you own nvidia you will have to purchase additional accessories for it. Only 60hz (which I knew about going into it. And you should as well if you read the specs.) The 2d to 3d conversion they have built in only seems to add a bit of depth for what ever you're ...
Pros: This is a great monitor it dose have some line's going through the screen. But you can adjust the screen so you don't see them and its only on white. I didn't see them when I was playing a game. the 3D works good but it works better if its a 3D friendly program like a game that was made for 3D.
Cons: Adjusting the monitor can be a little difficult like the height and width of the monitor so your desktop fit's the monitor
Summary: It is an excellent monitor, definitely the best I have ever owned. Asus should seriously consider removing the 3D button because their software is broken and can't properly utilize it.
Pros: Very good response time especially since this is an IPS panel the overall clarity of everything on the screen is really good it is definitely worth the money I will be picking up 2 more of them
Cons: Passive 2D to 3D conversion is a complete fail. The Nintendo 3DS has better 3D then this monitor overall the glasses really hurt your eyes and the only thing I could manage to do in 3D was play one game of Call of Duty then turn it off
Summary: I thought I was getting a dream monitor. It looks great but the grey interlaced lines are so annoying I can not explain in words. And it is in 2D. It seats next to a HP 2311xi, so I know exactly I am seeing. Monitor is connected by DVI to a GT530.
Pros: Looks great, abundance of connection option, speaker
Summary: For price, its a bargain. The monitor is well made and very heavy. I recommend WinDVD pro 11. Then Download bunch of 3d demo/scene off Youtube, and you will have a collection 3d movies to start. Also I did not detect any dead pixel
Pros: I have the monitor for almost a week now. Here's what to know(if you're a Noob to 3d like I was) 1.)You'll need to install the NVidia 3d vision drivers(if you have a nvidia card of course, and then you'll have to enable it. 2.) you may have to adjust and tilt you monitor to reduce blurring during...
Cons: Again you may have to adjust and tilt your monitor during 3d playback so the picture doesn't look blurry. There are very few movies that have that POPOUT effect, most of time you are only going to sense More Depth.
Summary: I'm very happy with it minus the loss of an egg on the rating for the go go gadget stand.
Pros: The 3D on this screen for the size is actually impressive. The refresh rate makes everything so smooth. Oh, the auto on and off is great. Turn PC on, it turns on, turn PC off, it turns off.
Cons: The stand. I'm working on mounting it to something else. The articulation is not what I expected. It has 2 height settings. Low, and stupid high. Pull the grenade pin on the back and it shoots up like Inspector Gadgtets legs back in the day.
