Monitor works fine, but white/blacks aren't as good compared to my other VE278Q monitor

Summary: I have a VE278Q monitor that is two years older than this new VE278H model that I bought. I use dual monitors and my old monitor has (Q model) has noticeably darker blacks and whiter whites, which is really irritating as these are side by side. I can mess with the settings to get it less noticeable but it is still an issue.
Summary: This monitor was great, however I decided that the 27" was a little too big for my preferences. I would gladly use it for my Xbox, but since i was using this for Regular computer use i found it a little tougher on the eyes. So i ended up returning this. However if you like the bigger screen size, this product is a fantastic value and great quality. Asus makes some of the best monitors!
Some of the best Monitors Ive ever used! HUGE 27inch screen

Summary: I love the size and the vivid color. Its hit or miss with the dead pixels it seems, but it missed me thankfully and i bought two of these at the same time! Screens are even bigger in person when in your desk, especially when you have more than one sitting next to each other. I use these on my MacBook Pro Laptop 2009, so i can have either 3 monitors when laptop is open or dual when its closed.
Summary: This monitor works great for basic computing and gaming, but it absolutely sucks for photo editing. When a monitor reaches this size, the resolution doesn't look as crisp. Rounded edges look more like stairs. If you're looking to do photo editing, it would be ideal to step up the resolution.
Summary: This is the strangest monitor purchase I have made. Although the price was more than fair, resolution is not as good as a 28" diagonal monitor I purchased 3 years ago. It does have a very bright screen (with no burned out pixels), but once it is turned on, it sounds like someone is making hard boiled eggs or popping corn in the adjacent room. The boiling sound is muted but still annoying.
Summary: I just got this monitor today, didn't buy it myself but through another person's amazon account. The main use I'm gonna give it is gaming and photo editing. So far I'm loving it, and I would almost be completely satisfied if it wasn't for one little thing, a tiny thing literally, a single dead pixel :( So don't expect a dead pixel-free quality in this monitor, you will probably get one.
