Summary: One stuck pixel (green) near the bottom center of the screen (often hidden by the taskbar). Product still gets five stars because the color quality blows away my other two ASUS monitors, which can't even display a decent white after only a year of use. I'm considering buying two more of these, but am uncertain if all three will fit on my triple monitor stand.
Summary: Asus VE258Q 25" full HD Monitor with Intregated Speakers, Saw it, Wanted it, Bought it. Wanted something to augment my 19 inch HPw1907 monitor that still works great even though it is over six years old. It works great but, but not my eyes and was getting tired of squinting. After searching all over for a monitor that would help out I found the ASUS VE258Q. It has made a world of difference on my reading since I can really expand the size of the screen.
Summary: I'd give this a 4.5 if I could. I bought this a couple weeks ago and I haven't had any problems yet. It worked right out of the box, and was very easy to set up. I don't notice the stand being shaky, nor do I have a problem with blurry text as some have stated. The preset contrast and brightness were a bit high, and so are most the other presets it comes with. This is just a nitpick though, it's easy enough to just turn one or both down to suit your liking.
Speakers are merely ok, monitor quality is very good

Summary: These are the monitors we handout to new staff members and they are generally very good. Setup is easy, they are light, video quality is very good and they are light enough for us to mount them on swing arms for easy manipulation. Our only problem is with the built-in speakers. They are NOT going to give you great sound quality. That being said, they are more than adequate for web video conferences, Skype and other VoIP uses.
Great monitor but beware the marketing - does not daisy chain

Summary: As others have said, this monitor has a great display. The colors are vivid and the picture is clear with no ghosting. What bothered me is that the Asus marketing text for the product is deceptive: "DisplayPort connectivity transmits high-definition visuals to external displays that are superior to DVI and VGA ports, supporting multiple monitors on one cable so you can daisy-chain two or more together." This is flat out deceptive marketing.
Summary: I bought this monitor before in June to work with it over the summer (by connecting it to my laptop by HDMI). I was going to get HP 25'' at first but decided to get ASUS (because I love ASUS, and their products are always solid), and also the frame was much thinner. It's perfect! The size is excellent. It's not too big where you have trouble grasping the entire area, but it's not small either, allowing you for lots of multitasking.
Summary: This monitor is legit. Huge even for watching movies. resolution is 1080p... Have never had an issue with slow refresh rates. Colors are perfect. Whites are bright but not too bright and this wobble thing some ppl talk about is non existent. Play BL2 BF3 SC2 Crysis 2 and many more. A must buy.
